THE GIFT OF SPRINGTIME IN THE GARDEN

Did you all remember to put your clocks forward last night in the UK?   A lovely sunny day here today but boy is it cold!

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments.  I do appreciate them.  I have had another lovely surprise to find I have been chosen in the top three for 'The 2 Sister's Challenge' so I now have their lovely badge on my sidebar!  I am so honoured and delighted to have won this.

This Topper was worked to a Sketch for The Pixie Cottage Challenge, a lovely sketch to work to.  I really enjoyed doing this.  I was working around the themes of 'Springtime', 'In the Garden' and 'Shine On' so there is a lot going on here on this one.

I used the lovely Magnolia Tilda image, I think she is called 'Secret Tilda' - a real favourite of mine and she is coloured with promarkers.  The papers are Prima Sparkling Spring (very apt don't you think! )  I love the flowers and the birds on these papers.  The doyly and the organza ribbon I bought locally, the Charm was from EBay, as were the gems and tiny rhinestones.  The little rhinestone flower gems were a present.  I have used lashings of Stickles Stardust and also Crystal.  The gorgeous flowers came from Wild Orchid Crafts and Mulberry Crafts and the leaves and swirl were Magnolia die-cuts.  The lovely Butterfly is made from a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment was stamped onto a punched scalloped circle and this was in my stash.  I think that covers everything.
