CHRISTMAS EASEL CARD

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

Tonight I have a Christmas Easel Card I have made to show you which I folded from a hexagonal card which was pre-embossed with snowflakes.  The image of course is Magnolia Tilda (LongingTilda I think) and I added the hat from a different Tilda.

There is not a lot to tell about this one really, it is mainly a stash card.  I made the frame from a Nestabilities circle, the snowflakes are a Cuttlebug die and the swirls are a Marianne Creatables die.  The leaves were made using the Martha Stewart 'branch' punch.

I am hoping to list this card on EBay tomorrow evening (link on my sidebar)

AN ALTERED CD GIFT BOX

Hi everyone,

Tonight I have something a little different to show you.  I have been playing around making an altered item.  This is a cd gift box which I bought in a pack simply ages ago.

My inspiration came from several Challenges.  The theme at Little Claire is 'Christmas.  The theme for Colour Create is 'Burgundy, Gold, Green and Cream, Hannah and Friends is 'Glitter'
Well I used Forever Friends papers 'A Christmas Tale' and two stamps.  The lovely bear is by Little Claire. It is coloured with Promarkers.   This stamps up so lovely and crisp and clear!  the music is a Silent Night stamp by Magnolia.  I adhered a sentiment to the top.  Magnolia flourish, Cuttlebug snowflakes and snowflake punchies, Cheery Lynn die-cut, cheesecloth and Magnolia die-cut leaves have also been used.  The flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Loads of Stickles finishes it off.  Gold Stickles in the flower centres, Stardust on the bear, and other parts.
I am putting this on EBay tonight.  There is a link on my sidebar to my items.

WINTER WONDERLAND!

Well I am on a roll!  I promise this is my final one today!

This card is a card I have made for our son and girlfriend for Christmas.  (Hope they do not look at my blog! lol)   I just did my own thing on this one.   I used two stamps, the birdhouse is LOTV and the name of the other one escapes me at the moment.  These papers are gorgeous!  They are Tilda - Santas Stack!  So we have in addition Cuttlebug snowflakes' cheesecloth, poinsettias (EBay) and the Magnolia die-cut flourish.  Not forgetting the good old Stickles.

I needed 3 embellishments for the Challenge at Lollipop Crafts, and I have snowflakes, flourish and poinsettias which i think covers that one.

That really is it from me now for tonight, so thanks for staying with me, a huge thank you for all your lovely comments, and have a lovely evening,

EMBOSSING AND A SKETCH

Hi again,

One more from me then I am calling it a day!
This is a card which I made for my niece's birthday which is on Christmas Eve.  I worked to a lovely Sketch for the 'Everybody Art' Challenge using Milton & Co Christmas papers, but they do not look Christmassy, apart from being red.  The image is a Stitchy Bears digi image, and it is gorgeous!  So lovely to colour!  I thought I might struggle with the red.  It looks lovely glittered up too with the Stickles.  What would we do without our Stickles lol

The frame has been made with the Punch Around the Page Martha Stewart punch.  You will see the embossed circle (Nestabilities) peeping through by the doily too, Swiss dots is the embossing folder I used.  The flourish is a Magnolia die-cut, the leaves are made using the Martha Stewart 'branch' punch and the flowers are Prima craftables which I tinged with copics and glittered.

SUMMER FLOWER FAIRY

Morning everyone,

Today I have a card to show you using this gorgeous Pergamano 'Summer Flower Fairy' image which has been coloured for me by a very dear friend of mine.  Isn't she lovely!

Look no flowers!  Yes this must be a first for me, but I have kept it plain and simple so as not to detract from the image.  I did try flowers against it but somehow I thought it really did not need them.  I punched out a square with my Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page punch (gosh this was tricky!) I think I can honestly say that everything else was made from my stash.  I think it has made a very simple but effective card, but it is the image and the lacy effect that makes it!

SWEET AS CANDY AND A SKETCH

Hi everyone,

Hope your weekend is going well.  It has been a really cool breeze here but the sun has shone which has made a lovely change and my does it lift the spirits!
Tonight I have a card to show you which I have just completed this afternoon.  I worked to a lovely Sketch for the Pixie Cottage Challenge with an optional theme of 'Sweet as Candy' and this tied in lovely with the Challenges at My Mums Craft Shop which is entitled Food/Drink and also Magnolia Mania which is  'small scene'.  It seems ages since I used this lovely Magnolia Tilda image and I had such fun colouring her with copics and Promarkers.  She has always been a good old favourite of mine!   I love the Melissa Frances 'Kitchen' papers, I think that is fruit at the top left and that lovely teapot charm I think cover the drink part of the challenge too.

You will see that lovely cheesecloth again peeping from the centre of the scene, the flower and also the button stars at the top right (love these buttons!).  This lovely flower was one which was a free gift with an order from Magnolicious.  I removed the centre and popped a small rose in its place, coloured it with copics to match the colour combo and added red stickles.  Then I added the leaves which are made using a Martha Stewart punch (Branch) and the little stamens too.  These were a present but I think they were from Cuddly Buddly.

And of course there is a Martha Stewart punched butterfly, I just cannot seem to leave this punch alone!  I think everything else came from stash.

I loved making this card and must admit I am quite pleased with it.  Some just seem to go together better than others!

TILDA TO THE LETTER

Hi everyone,

A huge welcome to my new followers, and thanks again for all your lovely much appreciated comments.

Today I have a card which I have made using our lovely Magnolia Tilda image.  I loved making this card as I followed a lovely Sketch for the MDUC Challenge and I used these beautiful papers which are a mixture of Magnolia and Tim Holtz Vintage Chic. It is difficult to see on the photo but this paper has script on it so I hope it qualifies for the Anything Goes Challenge.

The flowers are Kort and Godt from Joanna Sheen, these are lovely and it is free pp over at Joanna Sheen which is brilliant!  The ribbon and card candi were a lovely present and I use these so much!  In addition I hqave used two punches, both Martha Stewart, one which is a border punch (punch around the page one actually) and the other one is the 'branch' punch which I love for the leaves.  This time I have used matching papers for the leaves.

SHAPE IT UP

Sorry to be a pest but this really is my last one today.  I think this makes 4!

I have a friend in Hospital now after having had major surgery and this is the card I made her.

I made the easel card using the Nestabilities dies and used this lovely sheep Elzybell stamp (adding Flower Soft).

The papers are by Trimcraft.

I used several dies here, Magnolia swirl, Nestabilitie,  Butterfly, and Marianne Creatables swirls at the foot.  Also Martha Stewart 'branch' punch for the leaves.  Oh and the flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts.

And a close up view

LAVENDER AND LACE WITH A SKETCH

And again with another one,

Talk about buses all coming at once!

Firstly I would like to say a huge thankyou to you all for your lovely comments.  All followers comments are being recorded for my surprise Christmas candi and every follower's comment will qualify for a further entry.  When I say 'Christmas' this means a little parcel to open Christmas morning, not necessary containing Christmas items.  Hehe I cannot say any more as it might not be a surprise to the lucky recipient! lol  I love giving!
Well I worked to another Sketch here for the Quixotic inspirations and this one I tussled with a bit but got there in the end.  I chose one of my favourite images, 'Willow' is a Whiff of Joy image designed by Elisabeth Bell.  I love it!  The papers are a mixture of Magnolia ones and a real joy to work with.

I chose the colours Lilac and green so this fits in with both the Lavender and Lace Challenge at Allsorts and also 'Lilac and green' for The Ribbon Girl Challenge.

Can you see the cheesecloth peeping through on top of the Cheery Lynn die-cut?  Love those two things!  Again I used two Martha Stewart punches, a border punch and the 'branch' punch for the leaves.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts  and the ribbon, pearls, and lace were from my stash.

I WANT TO RIDE MY BICYCLE!

Back again with my second one today,

I worked to a fabulous Sketch for the Pink Ink Sketch Challenge for this card, and oh Wow I loved it!  It was a pleasure from start to finish to make this one because I used this gorgeous image from Wee Stamps which Whimsey have now brought out in proper stamps instead of just Digis!  These are by Sylvia Zet.  they are absolutely gorgeous!   Yay!  This one has been coloured by a very dear friend of mine.  I also used some of my favourite papers which are Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby Chic! - gosh these are such a treat!  What a different good papers make!

So, in addition I have used Martha Stewart border and branch punches and the flowers were a mixture of Wild Orchid Crafts and Mulberry Crafts.  This gorgeous card candi finishes it off, and I just love it!  What a lovely birthday pressie this was!

Song inspired?  It sure was!  I heard this on the radio as I was starting to make it, and oh wow I could not get it off my mind!  'I want to ride my bicycle ' by Queen

CHERRY BLOSSOM

Hi again, back with my second one today,

Wel we got the printer replaced, thankfully it was still under guarantee.  Need to get it set up tonight!

Here I have a different style card to show you.  Mum asked me to make her two 90th birthday cards, each to be totally different from each other, so this is what I came up with for one of them.  The Cherry Blossom image is one my friend coloured for me.  I think more or less everything else came from my stash, apart for the leaves which I made using the Martha Stewart 'branch' punch..  All the work is in the image really, apart from that it is nice and plain and simple.  Even so it is surprising how long it can take just designing a card.  I am sure you will know what I mean here.

What a palava!  Our printer stopped working last night so this means a trip back to Currys today.  I am absolutely lost without it and did not realise just how much I use it!

Today I have a card to show you which I have made using this lovely image by Pergamo called 'Flower Girl' which has been very kindly coloured by a very dear friend of mine.

Again I worked to a lovely Sketch for the Challenge at Inky Impressions.  It was a pleasure to work to.

The papers are absolutely gorgeous!  (Tim Holtz Lost and Found)  It took a lot of courage to cut into them I can tell you!  The butterflies, leaves and lacy edge are made uisng  Martha Stewart punches and the die-cuts are Nestabilities and Cheery Lynn.  Oh and look at this gorgeous card candi which I had given for my birthday!  Isn't it gorgeous!
