Hi everyone,
I am delighted to be back with a Design Team card to share which I made for the Challenge at Fussy and Fancy
Norma is hosting this Challenge, the theme
is entitled 'Fancy folds ' and we are sponsored by Sweet Lilac Flowers and Marianne Designs
I fancied doing something a bit different, but still ended up with an Easel card. If in doubt I tendto turn to Easel Cards. But I did make this one a littlel different in shape by starting off with a narrow easel but quite tall and then adding the lovely die-cuts (Joy die from Noor Designs UK of course!) Actually I am quite pleased with the finished result.
The Joy papers are from Noor Designs UK also
Marianne Creatables dies (Borders)
The image is a Hobby House Topper designed by Sylvia Zet.
Embellishments are from Live and Love Crafts
Anything else from my stash
I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy blog. It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.
As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

Hi everyone,
It is my turn to post again on the Blog at http://kraftyhands.blogspot.co.uk/
I am sharing another card I made a little while ago. This time I have used the
lovely 'Kew papers' (Well you know how much I love these papers!) and have also used the gorgeous topper from the 'Time for Romance' topper pack from Kraftyhands online shop.
The dies are cheery Lynn, the embellishments came from Live and Love Crafts and everything else came from my stash.
MY TIP - Sometimes I find I have a dilema when white is too stark but cream is too yellowy. On occasions I find if I lightly ink the edges of the die-cuts and add either glitter of Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste it just takes away the starkness of the white. This way both the white and off white or cream sometimes can blend and work. This is not an official tip, just something I have found works for me.
I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at Kraftyhands blog.
As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

Hi everyone,
I am delighted to be back with a Design Team card to share which I made for the Challenge at Fussy and Fancy I made this one just for fun so I could play along as it is not my turn this week.
Mary Lou is hosting this Challenge, the theme
is entitled 'Distressed ' and we are sponsored by Aurora Wings
I have tried to achieve the more vibrant look here. Mmmmm I must confess it looks so much better in real life than on the photo.
I reached for my embossing folders here. I often do this if I can not decide which papers to use, and I love the embossed effect.
The dies are from Noor Designs UK

Hi everyone,
It is my turn to post again on the Blog at http://kraftyhands.blogspot.co.uk/
I
decided to share an embossed card I made a little while ago using this lovely postcard topper from 'The Garden' postcard toppers pack from Kraftyhands online shop. The postcard topper has been cut into a heart shape which layers lovely onto the gorgeous Joy die from Noor Designs UK.
The outer dies are Tim Holtz, the embellishments came from Live and Love Crafts and everything else came from my stash.
MY TIP - When I just can not make up my mind which
papers to use I usually reach for my embossing folders. They make a
great alternative to papers. BUT some great effects can be achieved by
actually embossing the patterned papers too. Experimenting is not only
fun but also can be inspiring!
I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at Kraftyhands blog.
As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

The dies are Spellbinders and also Joy from Noor Designs Uk.
I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Kraftyhands blog. It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.
