FUSSY & FANCY FRIDAY CHALLENGE - 'Monochrome'

Hi everyone,

It has got around to another challenge at Fussy and Fancy !  This challenge is hosted by Nikki

The theme is entitled 'Monochrome' (shades of one colour)  and we are sponsored byPaper Shelter

I opted to make a trio consisting of a card, gift bag and Keepsake box choosing different shades of beige and brown.  This is very different for me but I really enjoyed doing it.

To be honest I just sat staring at my table and inspiration was just nowhere to be seen.  So this is thanks to my friend Gina that this trio happened. I don't think I would ever have gone for browns so thanks Gina, and in fact I think I should use browns more often.

I used the Sponsor's image and yes I have been colouring!.  Actually it is a lovely and versatile Vintage teacup image.  There is lots of sparkle and glossy accents to give the effect of china.

I went a bit mad on this card with lots of lovely embellishments, some from Live and LoveCrafts and the remainder from my stash.

The trio consists of the card, gift bag and Keepsake box, the latter two being altered not actually made.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hi everyone,

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.  I hope it is a very happy and creative one throughout.

I am here with another card from my saved folder.  I am getting through these fast now.  There are one or two Christmas ones I still have not blogged, but it seems a bit late to do this now.  What do you think? Shall I keep them til nearer next Christmas?

And of course it is another Vintage image.  I just love this image.  Again I am not sure where she came from, but if in doubt check out the Magic Moonlight and Janet K websites as she is most probably from one of these.

I think everything is more or less self explanatory here.

Thanks for looking, and enjoy!
