KRAFTYHANDS AND NOOR DESIGNS UK

Morning all,

Today I am sharing another card using the goodies I have recently purchased from Tracey's online Shop called Noor Designs UK
and using this lovely Topper from Kraftyhands
Actually this card I have made for my Mum.  She loves cats and isn't this such a cute kitten topper?

I really am loving using the Noor Designs dies and papers, they are a very similary quality to those at   Kraftyhands
and lovely to work with.

I opted to use a layout I have used before.  You will be seeing more of this layout over the next few days as I really love the finished effect, and it is so simpleto make.  Really it is sometimes nice to let the dies and the papers lead the way, along with the image of course.  That is what I have done here.

FLOWER POT CARD

Morning all,

Today I have another Flowerpot card to share.  This is similar to the one I shared yesterday, but of course that one was a Christmas one.

As I said yesterday, I loved using the embossing folders to create this card.  The shape I just created myself and added items from my stash.  Once I had my template made, and had made one successfully then it was plain sailing.   As you will see the top actually is detachable as it is slotted into the pocket.

CHRISTMAS FLOWERPOT CARD

Morning all,

Here I have something a little different to share.  I had a phase earlier in the year making one or two Flowerpot cards.  I had always wanted to have a go at these.  Well, all was going well untilI tried to get the card to stand.  Oh dear - collapse!  (the card not me! haha).  After much thinking, experimenting and grey hairs, I eventually came up with this idea.  I made it into a sort of Tent card.  (See the second photo)

I loved using the embossing folders to create this card.  The shape I just created myself and added items from my stash.  As you will see the top actually is detachable as it is slotted into the pocket.  I loved working out how to do this card, it was very much trial and error, but I am sure there will be tutorials to be had if I had searched on Google.  I just wanted to do it myself!

FUSSY & FANCY FRIDAY CHALLENGE - Happy Holidays

Hi everyone,

I am delighted to be back with a Design Team card to share which I made for the Challenge at  Fussy and Fancy

Kavitha  is hosting this Challenge, the  theme is entitled  'Happy Holidays'. and we are sponsored by Live and Love Crafts

It will come as no surprise to see I have made yet another envelope card filled with tags.   I had in my mind 'Happy Holly days' and the lovely papers fit the bill perfectly, as did the image.

These gorgeous papers and the image are from Live and Love Crafts
Flowers and shabby ribbon are also from Live and Love Crafts

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

ELISABETH BELL - Embossed card

Morning all,

Here we have a card I made using this gorgeous stamped image which has been coloured by a friend of mine.  The image is called 'Fairy Play' and was created by Elisabeth Bell.  Isn't it gorgeous!

I had fun playing with my Tim Holtz Die and also my embossing folders here creating a shaped card.

SARAH KAY MULTI-FOLD CARD

Morning all,

Here we have an easel card which I made using this gorgeous Sarah Kay stamp which I coloured with Copics.  This is teamed with Cheery Lynn dies.  I am not sure what this shape is called to be honest, it sort of formed its shape itself along the way, but it is probably a type of Multi-fold card maybe?  You will see I had fun making the flowers from Cheery Lynn dies too.
