VINTAGE WEDDING

Hi everyone,

It looks like that was Summer, it is a lot cooler here today and somehow the sunshine has vanished.

I have a card to share tonight which I was asked to make, they supplied the image so I am not sure where it came from.  I am all of a dither when I do them for people like this and I was a little worried I ruined the image!  Anyhow the lady was really pleased with the end result so that was ok.  The image was quite large even when cut down so I had to do this on an A5 card, it is simply ages since I have worked with this size.  I had hoped it would fit on a 7 x 5 inch but there was no way it would fit.

I struggled to find papers to match but eventually found some in my stash.

Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts

ANYTHING BUT SQUARE

Hi everyone,

Firstly a very warm welcome to my two new followers.  And again a huge thank you to everyone for all the lovely comments I am receiving.

I have been playing around with my lovely new Cheery Lynn dies and opted for an easel card combining them with my Go Kreate dies.  Oh my! how i love this lovely Cheery Lynn frame which comes with this gorgeous dinky little doiley die too.  The Angel Wings when pieced together are perfect to layer onto.  I was inspired to buy these dies when I saw my very clever friend Alison use these on some of her cards recently.  Do take a look at Alison's blog, she really is the Queen of die-cuts in my eyes.

So, onto the card.  I used this lovely image from LOTV, I love these images, they are so reasonably priced, stamp so nice and crisp and clear every time and are a joy to colour.  Photographing the finished piece, oh dear, this was not easy, but I have done the best I can.

There are several views here:

It is Tilda time again, what would we do without our lovely Magnolia Tilda images!  I just love this Kitchen Tilda image, she is one of my old favourites which comes out time and again.

I followed a lovely Sketch this time at Papertake Weekly.  Well, to be honest I started off casing Dawny's  card because I could not find the Sketches to choose which one I wanted to use.  Ermmm after the card was made I found them!  they are on the top bar of Dawny's Blog.  So I actually followed Sketch #63.  It is a lovely Sketch and was a joy to work with.
