Hi everyone,
Firstly, my apologies for being so quiet recently. In addition to family matters (not bad ones) I somehow managed to sprain some ribs and the medication disagreed with me making me so very poorly. I hope to be backin full swing very shortly.
I have not had idle hands, (well until I got ill) so have lots of photos to share eventually, many of which are Christmas cards. Yeah Christmas! Hey, and I have loved making them too!
I was inspired by this card simply because I did not know what to make and I was sat looking at my lovely laces and embellishments from http://jules777cards.blogspot.co.uk/p/blog-page.html
and it just went from there. I can tell you I just love these laces. OMG! I keep thinking do I want to use them? then I smackhands and tell myself I NEED to because then I have an excuse to pop over and browse for more! The photos on Jules Blog really do not do them justice, the ones I have here are such brilliant quality and at such a reasonable price with brilliant cost of postage. Don't you think crafting is so much more pleasurable when using really good quality stuff? And I find you only get out what you put in. Using cheap materials seems to give a cheap result for me. Get the picture? lol You will guess I am hooked!
So, yes here we have a Christmas card using a lovely freebie image from Janet K.
The edges are inked.
Flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts and EBay
I think the papers are Joy from Noor Designs Uk.
And finally I have something to share with you. I bought a lovely Hole punch the other week. Previous to buying this my punches would just not go through card. This one does! Not only doesit go through it, it goes through more than one sheet at once, and believe me it goes through like butter! I wish I had found this earlier!
