SCRAPPING4FUN GRAND PRIZE CHALLENGE - NEWS & PUBLIC VOTE

Hi everyone,

Please do read the whole post because I need a vote!  (You might need a coffee, its a bit lengthy!!!)

Well, aren't I a happy bunny!   You could have knocked me over with a feather when I found that I had won a challenge at http://scrapping4funchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/   It is simply ages since I entered Challenges and to win like this is such a lovely feeling.

SO - it does not end there.  Now I apparently qualify to enter the GRAND PRIZE CHALLENGE.  There are 9 winners of previous challenges (I think) and we all have been given a lovely Sketch to work to.

I worked to the Sketch and carried both the design and the sketch to the inside of the card.   (There are no surprises there are there! lol)  Then because I had a couple of scraps of the Pion papers I had used left over I made a little altered gift bag to co-ordinate.  (Again no surprises! )

I used Pion papers (Ornament and Bird Song), image, shabby ribbon and sundry embellishments all from Live and Love Crafts

The lace, pom pom and pearls were purchased locally

You will see that the image is edged with Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste from Noor Designs Uk.  This structure paste has also been added to some of the flowers.  Then a sprinkling of Glamour Dust has been added.  The small Angel's wings have been tinged with glitter also.

The design and Sketch have been carried to the inside of the card:

I used up my scraps of the lovely Pion papers!

Apparently the next step is a public voting system to determine who wins the prize.  I would love it if you could find the time to pop over this lovely Challenge Blog at http://scrapping4funchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/   If you feel I deserve the vote it would be brilliant if you could vote for me.  I must confess I am so excited!

Thank you so much for bearing with me reading this long post and taking the time to look today.  I do so appreciate each and every one of my followers and also all the lovely comments I receive.  They really keep me going, and sometimes are the highlight of my day.

Hi everyone.

It is my turn to post again today on Kraftyhands Blog athttp://kraftyhands.blogspot.co.uk/.

Well, I just had to use these lovely papers from http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/

Take a look at  Kraftyhands online shop and I bet you will find lots of different combinations using this layout with their lovely products.

SCRAP AND CRAFT CHALLENGE - Butterflies

Hi everyone,

Recently I was given a link to check out for a lovely online shop called Scrap and Craft.  Well, immediately I saw the choice of lovely pretty papers I knew I was going to be tempted.  I bought a pack of Lemoncraft 6 inch and also 12 inch papers called House of Flowers ( I think).  The 12 inch papers are doublesided, the six inch ones are not.  Oh WOW I love them!  And what brilliant quality too!  So I got to playing right away!

But, I had also spotted that there are challenges at Scrap and Craft.  So, this is what inspired me to make this card.  The theme of Butterflies along with the lovely papers.  I had such fun, and you will see shortly a second card I made too.  Well, there was just no stopping me!

But, onto this card.

Papers from Scrap and Craft ( Scrap & Craft)

KRAFTYHANDS - NEUTRALS - POLKA DOTS

Hi everyone,

It is my turn to post again today on Kraftyhands Blog at http://kraftyhands.blogspot.co.uk/.

I chose to make a personal card for a male this time.  When I saw the 'Neutrals' polka dot papers pack ( http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/webshop/cat_950054-A6.html) and the lovely  Nautical topper it gave me a good start.   After adding a couple of Joy die-cuts and some things from my stash this really made for a quick card.  Really, I think the key is to find a good layout together with papers and image that co-ordinate and the rest could well be  (dare I say! plain sailing!

Take a look at  Kraftyhands online shop and I bet you will find lots of different combinations using this layout with their lovely products.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

DUTCH DOOBADOO SKETCH - 2 cards

Back again,

Yes, this is the third posting today in a row.  Scroll down to see the previous posts if you wish to.

This time I have a card I made for three Challenges.  I have been chipping away at these over the past week doing just a little at a time due to the problem with my painful ribs.

Blogger is being a real pain today for me.  I am having such problems uploading photos to my Blog.

So -  I have used a smashing Sketch from the Dutch Doobadoo Challenge.  I purchased this lovely Star template simply months ago from Noor Designs Uk and have now put it to good use.  What a joy it is to work with!  I will be making more of these cards for sure now.

I opted to make two different typoes of cards using these templates.  One is the star shaped card.  The second one is a square card with a section of the front trimmed adding the star to overlap at the front.  I could not make up my mind which to enter into the Challenges, so I am including them both.

The images and papers together with some of the embellishments are all from Live and Love Crafts and anything else came from my stash.

I would like to enter these cards into the following Challenges:

Dutch Doobadoo SketchChallenge

Noor Designs Uk Shaped Cards Challenge

Bunny Zoe Challenge - Shaped Cards

Again, can I re-iterate, thank you so much for looking and thank you too for all your lovely comments.  I am hoping to be back to commenting soon.

PHOTO INSPIRATION AT LIVE AND LOVE CRAFTS

Hi everyone

For the first time in a long while I have made a card especially for a Challenge.  Actually I have made a few especially for individual Challenges which I hope to Blog over the next few days.

Where do you get your inspiration from I wonder?  Inspiration for me comes from different directions, and this card came from the lovely Photo Inspiration at Live and Love Crafts.  What a lovely photo this is.  How could anyone not be inspired!

The image and most of the embellishments are from http://www.liveandlovecrafts.com/
and anything else is from my stash.  The image is from a sheet of Vintage Angels images.  I love this sheet, each and every one of the images are lovely.  There is lots of sparkle on this card but unfortunately the photo has not picked it up.

I would love to enter this into the Photo Inspiration Challenge at  http://liveandlovecrafts.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/challenge-39-photo-inspiration-collage.html

As always, thanks for looking and I hope your day is going really well.
