HANGING THE STOCKINGS WITH LOTV

Hi everyone,

Can you believe that it is the last day of November?  Where has the time gone to!

I am gradually getting through my saved card photos.  I made a whole load of things to take to the Craft Fairs and this is one of the cards.

I just love the dies from Noor Designs UK.  The papers I think are from a Joy pad from Noor too and the image is a precoloured one from LOTV.

Thanks for looking today

BEARING GIFTS WITH LOTV

Morning everyone

Well, it is the weekend and I guess a lot of us will be out Christmas shopping, so what better card and image to share today than this.

These images are great for a quicker card because there is no colouring.  This is one of the pre-colored images from LOTV.

The papers are from  a Joy pad purchased from Noor Designs UK and again I delved into my stash

I think this would double up as an all occasion card really, it is suitable for birthday or Christmas.

Thanks for looking today and have a great weekend

CHRISTMAS ALTERED GIFT BAG

Hi everyone

Here I have a photo of an altered Gift bag I made a little while ago when I was building stock for the Craft Fairs.

The large tree is from a Dutch Doobadoo template from Noor Designs UK.  The hessian tree is from a set of decorations I purchased locally and the papers are from LOTV

This is quite plain but I actually do like it!

Thanks for looking

VINTAGE CARD 3

Hi everyone

Today I have a quick card to share, again using the Vintage and Shabby Chic style which I so love.   This is another card from my saved card photos.

I opted for quite a quick card using an image from either Magic Moonlight or Janet K ( I love these freebie images), papers from LOTV and items from my stash.  The die is a Joy die purchased from Noor Designs UK.

Thanks for looking today,

CHRISTMAS TAG

Hi everyone,

Brrrr what a cold day it was yesterday!  I hope it is not going to be like this all week although I think it is forecast!

Today I have a Christmas tag to share which I made to go on a friend's Christmas present this year.  Fortunately I do not think she will look at my Blog so I think I am safe.

I picked up a pack of bought tags from somewhere that I cannot remember now!  Well, when I opened them out I just could not use them - I was immediately inspired to use them on my own tags as toppers.  They were ideal.

This was quite a quick make really. The photo does not do it justice.  I simply delved into my stash and somehow it just went right first time.  That does not always happen as we all know!  Will I make more?  You bet I will.  It is great to use up scraps.

Thanks for looking and keep cosy

VINTAGE CHRISTMAS CARD 2

Morning everyone

I am gradually making headway with sharing my saved card photos.  This one was a fairly quick card (quick for me).  I hooked my papers out again from Live and Love Crafts and also the image is from there.  The two dies are both Tim Holtz on the edge and the snowflake is a Cheery Lynn die.

Everything else came from my stash.

As always thanks for looking today

VINTAGE/SHABBY ANGELS

Hi everyone

Brrrr it is cold today!  Thankfully it is not snowing and blowing like it was yesterday though.

This is my second posting today, just scroll down if you wish to see my first post featuring the double easel card.

You will notice that I am really hooked on using the lovely Star stencil by Dutch Doobadoo from http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/

When I made this duo I was working toward inspiration from three Challenges.  The stars form the base of the card itself and then I made a co-ordinating tag. The lovely angel images are from Live and Love Crafts as are the flowers.  As theChallenge for Liveand LoveCrafts is a Tic Tac Toe and glitter is called for there is lashings of glitter in place of the Dutch Doobadoo Structure  paste which I would normally use.  The Stickles Stardust and Glamour Dust don't show on the photographs but the gold Stickles does thankfully.
Can you see the heart die-cut peeping through at the top of the card?  That one is a Magnolia die.

There are also La La Land banner die-cuts at each side of the card, these have been inked and glittered.  I cannot believe how well these cut, they are a real joy to work with.

The base of the card and the tag are embossed but again it it hard to see on the photos.
I have added cheesecloth, pompom trims and lashing of lace.

AND I loved making these!

I would like to enter these into the following Challenges:

SO VERSATILE

Hi everyone.

Quite some months ago I made a card using the  Petite Patisserie Die-cut Toppers from
http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/   Well, this is the same card transformed into an altered Gift Bag.  It just shows how versatile a card can be.  We don't have to stick to just cards, but there are so many other papercrafting ideas they can be used for.  A gift Bag is just one of many.  And I love making Gift bags!  What do you enjoy making other than cards?

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

FROM MY HEART with Pion and Riddersholm

Hi everyone

I am here to share a photo of a very simple card I made back in March.  I have quite a stack of photos to share so watch this space over the next few weeks.

This was fairly easy as the papers really said it all.  I teamed together papers from Pion and Riddersholm and added embellishments from Live and Love Crafts.

The shape has been taken from a Dutch Doobadoo template from Noor Designs Uk.

As always thanks for looking

VINTAGE CHRISTMAS 1

Hi everyone

So, here is the card I am sharing today.  I made this a good few weeks ago.  This is a Magic Moonlight image.  I just love their freebie images.  I dug out my papers from Live and Love Crafts again.  It was a toss up between Maja and Joy.  I think Maja won the day but Joy came close behind.  The flowers are from Live and Love Crafts and anything else came from my stash.

Still no sign of my Mojo!

FUSSY AND FANCY FRIDAY CHALLENGE - Thankful

Hi everyone,

I am delighted to be back with a Design Team card to share which I made for the Challenge at  Fussy and Fancy   The theme is entitled 'Thankful' and we are sponsored by Sweet Lilac Flowers  and  Fresh Brewed Designs

I chose to make a card and matching gift bag.  I seem t have gone a bit gift bag happy just lately.  I think I had better stop right here! lol

I used the Sponsor's image at the foot of each detachable tag.  Actually I really love this image, I am sure you will have seen it many times before on my cards.  It is so versatile and so quick to colour.

I embossed some cream card and added lovely lace and flowers etc  from my stash.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

I would like to enter this into the challenge at Scrap and Craft -
where the theme is Vintage or Shabby Chic.  (Isn't this just up my street!)  I have gone for the shabby Chic of course.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

VINTAGE ANGELS

Hi everyone

Christmas is on its way!  So, as it has been a little quiet on here lately I reckon it is time I shared some of the cards I have been making.  I am starting with this one which was inspired simply by looking through my Vintage images.  This one was from Live and Love Crafts, and it just went from there.  Well, actually it was not quite as easy as that because my Mojo has gone on strike!  Since I was not well it just does not want to play ball, so the cards I have been making have not been plain sailing at all.

Any ideas how I can get inspired?  I have tried all the usual things.  A very good friend of mine has suggested I start colouring again.  Mmmm, what do you think?  I have a lot to learn at colouring and am not a confident colourer.  But maybe this is the way to go.

Anyway onto the card:

I think the papers I used are Maja
Image from Live and Love Crafts
The ships Wheel die I think is a Joy die, and the stars are from a Dutch Doobadoo template.  The top die, again I am not sure but I think this is a Marianne die.

You will see I have used the lovely Dutch Doobadoo paste from Noor Designs UK again and the stars are from Lifve and Love Crafts

I would like to say a big thank you to all my loyal followers, your comments really do help to keep me going, especially when I am waning.  Thank you.

Thanks for looking today

LADIES & GENTLEMEN CARD MAKING KIT AT KRAFTYHANDS

Hi everyone,

I here to share photos of a couple of cards which I made using the new Card making kit at Kraftyhands which can be found here

The rest is self explanatory really as I used items from my stock and stash, but I must say this kit was much easier to use than I first expected AND, the borders are wide enough to retain to cut small die-cuts or punched or die-cut borders, so there is little waste!  I really hate waste so was thrilled to find this.

So, onto the cards.  The papers and toppers were all included in the Kit and there wasplenty left to make several more cards:
