VINTAGE LADY

Hi everyone,

Well have you all had a good Christmas?  I know it is not over yet, but I am tired of seeing the Christmas tree at the top of my Blog page, so here is a card I made a little while ago, the photo has been waiting to be blogged from my saved folder.

This has to be one of my favourite Vintage images.  I am not sure where she came from.  Most probably Magic Moonlight.  You will see I have used the lovely Structure paste by Dutch Doobadoo from Noor Designs Uk again, and in addition it has been a case of items from my stash, some purchased from Live and Love Crafts and some purchased locally.

Thanks for looking today

Morning everyone,

Can you believe it is now Chrtistmas Eve!

Well, I am here to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I loved making this card, and yes you will recognise the lovely Dutch Doobadoo star template again.  This template really has been the star of the show this year for me!  Can I use it for non Christmas cards to you think? Mmmmm, what do you think?  I just love it!

I am fairly sure that the image came from Live and Love Crafts.

Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste from Noor Designs Uk.
Joy die  at top left from Noor Designs UK
Magnolia border die.
flowers, shabby ribbon and cheesecloth from Live and Love Crafts (the papers could be from there too??)

All else from my stash.

Thank you so much for looking, and also for your lovely comments, not just now, but right through the year.  This just leaves me to reiterate my wish to you all for a very Merry Christmas.  Enjoy!

Morning everyone,

Yes, it really is looking a lot like Christmas now!  So here we have a card which Imade a little while ago and I must say I loved making this card!  I just love the Vintage Santa images!

I am fairly sure that the image would be from Live and Love Crafts.  There are a mixture of dies used, Tim Holtz on the edge at the top, Marianne dies to the right and left and Cheery Lynn in the Centre.  Again I delved into my stash.  What would I do without it!

BLUE CHRISTMAS

Morning everyone,

Today we have one in blue!  I started off with a Go kreate die to get the shape and the card sort of materialised from there.

The image is created by Sylvia Zet and coloured by a friend of mine ( I think) Again, it is a card Imade a while ago.  And again I delved into my stash.

PENNY BLACK ALTERED GIFT BAG

Morning everyone

You may remember a couple of posts ago I rambled on with a story about a very happy Summer?  Well this is another panel which I have used.  This one was a de-embossed panel (well that is my name for it).

My friend used this lovely Penny Black image.  Wen I did get onto stamping I think Penny Black images were probably oneof the first I used.  I gathered quite a collection of those lovely wooden stamps and looking at this here I am thinking I should dig them out again!

The bag itself is self explanatory really.  A few ribbon bows, some pom pom trim and an embossed panel.  And of coursefinished off withsome baubles.

As always, thanks for looking today,

LOTV IN FESTIVE RED AND WHITE

Morning everyone

Well Christmas is getting nearer and nearer.  The card Iam sharing today could be used for any celebration really, be it birthday, Christmas or even Ruby Wedding.  And that is thanks to the lovely pre-coloured image from LOTV.

I dug out my laces and flowers (Wild \Orchid Crafts) and added the lovely La La Land banner die-cut at the top.

I think we have around ten days to go now to Christmas!

ELZYBELL GIFT BAG -and a very happy Summer

Morning everyone

When I was very first introduced to stamping it was by a lovely friend of mine.  At that time she was very into stamping with the lovely Elzybell images.  Well, I had not tried stamping and I must say we had the most lovely happy Summer that year.  There is a vast distance geographically and I was embossing away making part embossed panels whilst my friend was happily stamping and colouring.  Parcels were whizzing back and forth with me sending lots of part embossed panels and then some were retained and others boomeranged back tome with these lovely images stamped and coloured! We had a real little production line going and Royal Mail must have been clapping their hands! lol They were such happy times,  So this is how this altered bag stemmed from.  I had one or two panels left over  (yes we were really ahead that Christmas!) so this Summer I decided to use some of them up, and what better way than to make an altered Gift Bag to takie to theCraft Fairs.  Well you know me and gift bags!

How is the lead up to Christmas going for you?  I have everything made but still a lot to do.

I used the Sponsor's image and yes I have been colouring!.  Actually I really love this image, I am sure you will too.

I used papers from a Pack from Wild Rose Studio.

The base of the card is used from the Star template from Dutch Doobadoo (from Noor Designs UK)
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
and items from my stash.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

CHRISTMAS ALTERED GIFT BAG

Morning everyone,

Well we are getting nearer to Christmas, so yes another gift bag!  I hope you are not bored with gift bags yet?!  I am certainly not bored with making them.  This one just sort of materialised.   I was looking at the lovely papers from Wild Rose Studio, and they just seemed too pretty to cover up with embellishments ( Like I do! )   Well, a few bits of lace and embellishments later this materialised.  The tree trim I purchased locally.  Apparently it is French, but isn't it lovely!

How is the Christmas shopping coming along?

As always thanks fgor looking,

WISH UPON A STAR

Morning everyone

This morning I have another card I made a little while ago.  I have used this lovely star template from Dutch Doobadoo (available from Noor Designs UK) so much this Christmas.  I just love it!  The dies are Joy dies and again available from Noor Designs UK, as is the structure paste.

The image is a Hobby House topper and the image was created by Mo Manning.  Cute eh!

The embellishments came from Live and Love Crafts and from my stash.

OH COME ALL YE FAITHFUL

Morning everyone,

This morning I have a Christmas card to share with you.  Ichose a really simple layout but love the effect.  It is probably one of the quickest cards to make for me.  I think I should save this layout in my old faithfuls folder!  Well, actually maybe I should create an old faithfuls folder! lol

I am not sure where the Vintage image came from, it could be Janet K?  There are two images very similar, the other one is Silent Night, and I love them.  The die at the top is  La La land die.  The die at the bottom is a Magnolia die.  Everything else came from my stash.

As always, thanks for looking today.

Hi everyone,

Well here we have a photo from my folder of saved files, and this time it is something non-festive.  I just adore this image from Magic Moonlight.  It is a card I made some time ago, and looking at it makes me think I should do more easel cards.

AND A CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi everyone,

And today it is a Christmas card I am sharing.

DUTCH DOOBADOO A4 GIFT BAG

Hi everyone,

Today I have a gift bag to share with you which I made in the early part of the year.  Again I have used the lovely Dutch Doobadoo template from Noor Designs Uk.  The Joy star die should be available at the same shop, but if not in stock it is worth asking Tracy to get it for you.  The image isa Hero Arts stamp and the image has beenc oloured with copics.  The rest is self explanatory really.

One thing though, although it is called an A4 bag, that is not the finished size.  The whole bag template is on a sheet of A4.  So easy to assemble, and I just love it!

DUTCH DOOBADOO PARCEL CARD/LOTV

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share which I made what seems like ages ago.  I loved making this card, using the lovely Dutch Doobadoo template.  These stencils are great, I just can not stop using them.  I get these from Noor Designs Uk.

I have useda mixture of papers and embellishments from my stash and also from Live and Love Crafts and the image is from LOTV.

I am thinking what a lovely template this would be for Christmas cards!  Especially for including a gift voucher in the pocket.

SHABBY ALTERED GIFT BAG

Morning everyone

So - how is the Christmas shopping going?  I am doing well with mine.  You know how I always like to work ahead?  Well I tend to be the same with Christmas and now I am pleased that  do this.

Well you know how I love making the altered gift bags!  Actually when making for the craft fairs I got a bit bag happy!

I always love the embossed look, I do not know what I would do without my embossing folders.  And somehow this design materialised by just experimenting with trying this and that.  I loved the design and went a bit mad making more in this way with different papers and colours etc.
