Hi everyone,
I am here today with a card which I made for my Mum to give to a friend of hers for her 90th birthday. I was asked to put numbers on this card. I find this really hard to do to be honest, and my personal feelings are that it can bring a design down and sometimes make it a bit tacky. That is just my own view, whereas I know most people like to see numbers on a card. SoI had a bit of a dilema, then I remembered I had some number charms. Well they were my saviour.
I used this lovely Vintagey postcard topper from Cardmaker's Delights and then delved into my stash. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts/Live and Love Crafts.
Thank you for looking, and a very Happy Mother's Day for tomorrow.

I'm not a fan of numbers usually either, but some times it can work. For "big" birthdays especially.
ReplyDeleteThis is a stunning example of how it can work beautifully. Love it! x
