ISN'T SHE PRETTY

Hi everyone

Today I have a card to share which I made way back last August.

Here I have used one of the lovely Hobby House toppers bearing the image designed by Sylvia Zet. Isn't she pretty!    You know I still like this layout, I think you might see some more cards with this layout over the next weeks!

The papers were from LOTV and the flowers are a mixture from Wild Orchid Crafts and Liveand Lovke Crafts.  As is usually the case the rest came from my stash.

Thanks for looking,

FUSSY & FANCY CHALLENGE - FEMALE BIRTHDAYS

Hi everyone,

It has got around to another challenge at Fussy and Fancy !  This challenge is hosted by

Therese

The theme is entitled 'Female Birthdays'  and we are sponsored by  Sweet Lilac Flowers

I like to make cards without a sentiment on the front then a personal message can be written inside the card.  So there is no Birthday wording on the front of my card but I have opted for a very girly theme following the vintagey shabby theme I so love.

I opted to make a sideways criss-cross style card adding detachable tags.

Virtually everything came from my stash.  The image was from Cardmaker's Delights and the flowers would be from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Without doubt the lovely organza floral trim came from eBay.  The shabby ribbon came from Live and Love Crafts.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

ELABORATE TEXTURE

Morning everyone

I am an early bird this morning.  I was wide awake at six o'clock so I snuck onto the computer, and the rest is history.

I have a large altered Notebook/Journal/organiser, whatever you want to call it, to share today.  I won't bore you with lots of photos today, but each divider inside was decorated too.  It took me forever!

I absolutely loved making this and went a bit over the top on the texture but I was so pleased with the finished result.

So, I have a question?  what is your favourite colour?  I am quite surprised how many people say blue when asking this question to my friends.  I didn't realise there are so many 'blue ladies' out there.

To be honest, this was made very much from my stash.  Being quite a large book I needed large paper so I dug out a pack that had been looking at me for simply ages.  You know how you buy things then think maybe it was a bad buy?  Then suddenly they come into use?  Well this was a case like that.  Because I decorated the dividers too I used a lot of the pack!  It certainly was not cheap to do.  But I got so much pleasure out of doing it.

I love using hearts and my heart dies are in constant use, as you will see here.  There is lots going on with this book, I decorated two little pegs and attached them to the hearts, we have lace and pearls and lots more besides.  I could go on and on but I won't.

I was really inspired by the colours of the Photo Challenge at Live and Love Crafts
so would like to enter this into the Challenge.

I would also like to enter it into the Challenge at 613 Avenue Create
The theme here is Anything Goes

In addition I would like to enter the Challenge at Crafting from the heart
where the theme is Anything Goes

And finally I would like to enter this into the Challenge at Creative Fingers
where the theme is Anything Goes

I hope you have a smashing day, and thanks for looking,

ALTERED PHOTO ALBUM

Hi everyone

Well, here I have something a bit different for me.  It is an altered photo album, shabby style.

No image!  It is not very often I do anything without an image!  Just papers, lace and embellishments.  All from my stash.

As always, thanks for looking.

PINK AND BLACK

Hi everyone

Would you believe I have found a photo of a card Imade back in 2013!  How I missed posting this one I do not know.  I was well into working with shaped cards at that time and I loved this shape (and stilol do for that matter).  I was using Cardmaker's Delights images then, just as I still am now too.  The colours are so unusual for me but I do still like them.

I have no idea what the papers are on this card but I do know the lace was purchased locally.

As always, thanks for looking

NOOR DESIGNS UK - ANYTHING GOES

Hi everyone,

Grab a cuppa!  There are lots of links to products used and they are so worth a look!:

Yes two posts in one night!  It is a long time since I have done that.  Please scroll down if you wish to see  my first post.

Well, the Challenge over at Noor Designs Uk    is entitled 'Anything Goes' and as this Easter, just a couple of weeks ago, saw me tginkering around trying some Mixed Media using products from Noor Designs Uk
it seemed very fitting that I should enter this into the Challenge.

I must say I am indebted to Tracy at Noor Designs UK (Crafteezee Blog)
for all her valuable advice and help with keeping me on the right track with, not just what products I needed, but also what to do with them.  Thank you Tracy, you are a true star!

This is the Challenge Blog:  http://noordesign-uk.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/challenge-17-anything-goes.html

And this is Tracy's Shop:   http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/

And if you wish to visit Tracy on her Blog, here it is:   http://crafteezee.blogspot.co.uk/

So, onto what transpired at Easter:

I opted to make an altered Notebook/Organiser.  I have used a selection of Dutch Doobadoo products, all found at Tracy's shop at Noor Designs Uk - here
Also several products from the Mixed Media section found here
I absolutely love the Shabbylicious Starburst sprays here

What I would do without my Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste I do not know.  It is in a huge pot and I use it such a lot.  I got this some months ago and it is still going strong.  Really good value.  ( http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/ourshop/cat_919675-Pastes-and-Adhesives.html)  And I see the Gesso is in a good sized pot too.  Once I have used what I have in I will definitely be switching to Dutch Doobadoo.

The wording came from the Dutch Doobadoo Paper Art ( here)  I love this! and I have since bought some Softboard Art which I am itching to try!

Oh, I forgot the masks - Gosh I could not have done without those and they are absolutely fabulous!  It does not show very well on the photo but OMGoodness, it really is gorgeous, and there are so many designs to choose from.  I just used the Structure paste over the masks  (Masks found   here)

So, here it is:

As always the rest came from my stash.

I had such fun and weill definitely be doing more.

I would like to enter this into the Challenge at Noor Designs UK - http://noordesign-uk.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/challenge-17-anything-goes.html

Thanks for looking,  I hope you have fun browsing all the lovely products in store.

I am here tonight to just pop a quick posting onto my Blog with a card I made a couple of weeks ago.  I just loove this image which I got from Cardmaker's Delights simply ages ago.  I delved into my stash and with the help of the roses from Wild Orchid Crafts andlace purchased locally this is what I came up with.  The papers were from my stash but I am afraid I cannot remember what they are.

Thanks for looking
