FUSSY & FANCY CHALLENGE - 'Fall Colours'

Hi everyone

Today sees the start of another Challenge at http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

It is Pat's turn to host this challenge and the chosen theme is 'Fall Colours '

Well I think this card says it all.  It is another one with a detachable tag.  Again, I have used items from Noor Design UK and also from my stash.

Showing the detachable tag:

It would be lovely if you had time to pop over and see the Design Team's beautiful inspiration and even better if you fancy joining in with the challenge. (http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ )

As always, thanks for looking,

Anything Goes at CHRISTMAS AT SWEET STAMPIN'

Hi everyone

I am so delighted to be here today to share my card for  http://christmasatsweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/.  Full details can be found by clicking the above link.

As always,  it is the easiest theme ever - Anything Goes Christmas! and I have used some things from my stash.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the green Meadow Spray is from Noor Design UK.

So, here is what I made.   This time it is a Christmas card using a Hobby House Topper bearing this lovely image created by Sylvia Zet.  I find these so useful as they are already coloured.  I just love this image.

It would be lovely if you could find time to pop over and see the amazing work of the Design Team, and even better if you were to take part in the Challenge.

As always, thanks for looking,

CHRISTMAS INSPIRATION - HOBBY HOUSE

Hi everyone

I am back today with another Christmas card to share.

This card is dedicated to a blogging friend of mine who has been a true source of encouragement, and inspiration to me.

Eulanda inspired me with a lovely layout which I first tried some months ago.  Since that time if I find I am lacking inspiration, suffering from Crafters block etc, I tend to use this layout and usally once I get started I find my mojo returning.  Eulanda you are a star.  Thank you!  As a lot of you will know, I never ever copy.  But we all need a starting point and need inspiration from somewhere to spark it off.

I used this lovely Hobby House Topper which was a present from my friend Gina.  These toppers were great for use with the embossed card which I used in place of papers.  I kept it very simple adding red roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and Meadow Spray (which I love!) and lace from Noor Design UK.  Anything else is from my stash.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and again, also for your much appreciated comments.

THINKING CHRISTMAS

Hi everyone,

I know it has been a little quiet on my Blog for a while.  I have had a very busy August, which I knew would happen, and something which I do enjoy too.

I hope you have all enjoyed your Summer, and that it is not over yet!  We need a really nice September to extend it I am sure!

In addition I would like to thank my blogging friends for their wonderful support throughout my recent lack of confidence to craft, and also lack of mojo.  You know who you are, so thank you! I honestly nearly gave up crafting altogether at one point and it is my friends who have kept me going!

However, I have not had totally idle hands and have been tinkering away at this and that behind the scenes.  I now have one or two Christmas cards in my saved photos folder so I will show you some of these over the next weeks.

So, onto a Christmas card I made recently.  When my crafty friend Gina visited me recently (what a wonderful two days that was!) I was introduced to trying Gilding Wax.  I had seen it done many times on the Blogs but never tried it.  So, Gina, this card was inspired by you, and my first attempt at using Gilding Wax.

I did not use papers, but used white card which I embossed with my embossing folders.

I then applied silver Gilding Wax to some of the embossed pieces and die-cuts.  So here we have a mixture of white and silver with the tree image which is a digi image as the central focal point.

I have added flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and also Noor Design UK together with items from my stash.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I do appreciate it, and look forward to receiving and reading your comments.
