GDT FOR ADVENT COUNTDOWN AT CREATIVE CRAFT WORLD

Morning everyone,

I am so excited today.  It is such a great honour to be invited to take part in the Advent Countdown over at Creative Craft World  .  The Design Team have been so busy creating lovely Christmassy makes and today is my turn to show you what I have made.

I decided to try something a little different so I have two different items here and it is my first time in making both of these.  It is quite a long posting so I will try and focus on the relevant and cut out the waffle! lol

1.  Altered CD Gift Box

I basically made this in the same way I would a card using the box as the base.

Recipe:
Box:  purchased locally some time ago
Papers:  Forever Friends 'A Christmas Tale'
Stamps:  Both are LOTV
Doiley:  Cheery Lynn die-cut
Flowers:  Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts
Lacy edging and leaves:  Martha Stewart punches
Stickles:  Red, Gold and Stardust
Glossy Accents

2.  Corner Bookmark

I have been wanting to make one of these for simply ages!  I found a tutorial on U-tube ( Tutorial found here )

Would you believe there are no papers on this one, apart from inside the frame!  It basically consists of card, Nellie Snellen circle die-cut, ribbon and Martha Stewart punched border for the base layers.

I then cut a Nestabilities circle frame, embossed it with Swiss Dots (Cuttlebug embossing folder) and mounted this onto the patterned paper circle.

This lovely Polar Bear image is by Imaginisce and I have coloured him with copics and added lots of glitz.  Isn't he just the cutest!  This stamp was a birthday present!  The ribbon came from my stash.

and the reverse side:

Thank you so much fro droppng by today and bearing with me in this post.  Do pop over and take a peek at what is going on over at Creative Craft World and have a lovely day.

LET IT SNOW

Hi again,

Yes back with another one, and it is another quick one too.

This time we have Magnolia Tilda, the stamp is called 'Snowy Hug' and I never tire of this stamp.

The papers are Tim holtz, I have distressed and inked the edges adding glitter.

I have this card listed on EBay for sale.  The link to my items is on my sidebar.  The snowflakes are Cuttlebug die-cuts, and in addition I have cheesecloth, Magnolia die-cut flourishes, Martha Stewart 'branch' punched leaves and pointsettia flowers.  These are glittered and gems have been added.

WHIMSY LITTLE CHRISTMAS ANGEL

Hi everyone

I am going to try to cut out the waffle today and try and focus on the relevant.   T

here is not a lot to say about this card except that here she is again!  I just love this Whimsy Digi image!    She is coloured with Copics and Promarkers.  The papers are Daisy and Dandelion 'Percy and Penelope' and just perfect for this type of card.  I have layers of lace, doyley and papers which are embellished with Cuttlebug snowflake die-cuts, Stickles Glitter Glue and flat back pearls.

BUTTONS AND BOWS

Morning everyone

Here I just have a very quick posting of a card I have made for a few Challenges.

CHRISTMAS RED AND A SKETCH

Hi everyone,

Tonight I have a card topper to show you which I have made following this lovely Sketch for the Sketch and Stash Challenge.   I dug out my Memory Box papers from last year and last year's embellishments too.  I could not resist using the lovely Magnolia Tilda image, I never tire of this one!

You will see that there are three layers with the Cheery Lynn die-cut being the base, a doily following and then a Nestability die-cut circle which I have embossed with Swiss Dots.

The Creative Belli Blog Challenge theme is 1, 2, 3, 4.  So i have one image, two pieces of ribbon at top left, three poinsettias and four leaves.
