GIFT WRAPPED CARROT

Hi everyone,

The minute I spotted this Digi at Mo's Digital Pencil I knew I just had to have it!  Just look at the size of that carrot!  I worked to a lovely Sketch for this card at The Sketchy Challenge, I love working with Sketches.  I was aiming for something not quite so frilly and fancy for this one, and boy was it hard not to clart it up, and also do you notice there are no flowers!  That was hard too!  I smacked my hands several times! lol

PUNCH AWAY IN AUTUMN

Hi everyone

Well, I am here tonight to make up for a little lost time.  What shocking weather we have had this week here in Yorkshire, it has been wet and foggy all week so far.  On the plus side it is good crafting weather, and I have had my head down focused on something I have been beavering away at which is now almost completed.

I will keep this brief as I have a couple more cards I would like to post tonight if I have time.

My first card is one I have completed for one or two challenges, my main aim being to include punches  (I looked out my Martha Stewart 'branch' punch for this part) and Autumn colours.  Well, I just could not resist using Sylvia Zet's  lovely image for this one.  I have coloured her with Coplics and Promarkers.

Die-cuts:  Tim Holtz and Cheery Lynn
Punches:  Martha Stewart 'Branch' Punch
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbon and Lace purchased locally

Stickles from stash

ORANGE AND BLACK

Hi everyone,

A lot of you will know that I just do not like the colour Orange, a colour I just really hate.   So, when I saw the Challenge theme at Cheery Lyn entitled 'Orange and Black' I groaned and thought 'Well I will give this one a miss for sure'But you know, somehow, Mo's lovely Digi image just seemed to be winking to me and beckoning 'come on you know you want to!' So anyhow, here it is finished and all that went before is history!  And guess what?  I really enjoyed doing it.  Sometimes it is good to step out of our comfort zone.  I think it has quite an Autumny feel to it somehow, perhaps it is the colours.
