NEW YEAR'S EVE - Cardmaker's Delights

Morning all,

Where has this year gone to!   It seems hard to believe it is New year's Eve already.  I hope you all have a fabulous time seeing the New Year in.

Here I have another quick post with a card I made some time ago using this gorgeous image from  Cardmaker's Delights  I was chuffed to bits with this card and I have it for sale on Facebook.

And no flowers!  Well, this must be a first for me, or one of very few I have made without flowers.  But you know what, I felt it had worked.

It is very much a card made from my stash, including Cheery Lynn and Tim Holtz dies.

CARDMAKER'S DELIGHTS - Flower Girl

Morning all,

I hope your Christmas is going well, and that Santa was good to you.

This is another little Scheduled post simply to share a card I made some time ago using this gorgeous image from  Cardmaker's Delights  This image is actually now discontinued.  I am so pleased I have stocked up with it.  But Tracy has a lovely selection of other Vintage lady images in her shop. 

The dies are from Cheery Lynn, the flowers and other embellishments are from Live and Love Crafts and I honestly can not remember which the papers were.  Anything else was from my stash.

NOOR CHRISTMAS WINE BOTTLE TAG - SYLVIA ZET

Morning all,

I saved this one for Christmas Eve as it just has a festive feel to it.

  

So I have another Wine Bottle Tag to share today which I made using the lovely products from http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/

Just like the last time I made one of these I started off using the lovely Doobadoo Polyester Bottle Label Stencil .  After creating the shape and cutting the circle with one of my Spellbinders Nestabilities dies (perfect size!), I then covered the lower part with the lovely papers ( Winter Papers).  Then I went from there adding this and that using my Noor (JOY) dies and a selection of lovely embellishments from http://www.liveandlovecrafts.com/

You know at first I thought I did not need this stencil.  I had already made my own template and also have one that a very dear friend sent to me. This was very much an impulse buy but I amso pleased I did buy it and can well recommend it plus all the lovely items I used.

NOOR AND LIVE AND LOVE CRAFTS - Bottle Tag

Morning all,

  

I have another Wine Bottle Tag to share today which I made using the lovely products from http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/

Again I started off using the lovely Doobadoo Polyester Bottle Label Stencil .  After creating the shape and cutting the circle with one of my Spellbinders Nestabilities dies (perfect size!), I then covered the lower part with the lovely papers ( Happy Holidays).  Then I went from there adding this and that using my Noor (JOY) dies and a selection of lovely embellishments from http://www.liveandlovecrafts.com/

Can you see the Dutch Doobadoo structure paste dotted onto the Shabby embellishments?  Oh my! I am indebted to Tracy at Noor Designs UK for telling me about this!  I sprinkled fine glitter on top to give a sparkley effect.

Well, you can tell I enjoyed this as this is creation number 2!  And I have another one to come yet also!   I can well recommend this stencil, and all the lovely items I used.

CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND - Anything but square or rectangle

Hi everyone

Today sees the midway point for the  Challenge at CCAYR, which is entitled 'Anything but square or rectangle'.  Well, this theme was just up my street, so you can imagine I loved making this card.  I really do not think you can beat the embossed look for that nice crisp, clean fresh look, and I thought it went well with the snowy look also.

I have another Altered Gift Bag to share today using the lovely papers (Man About Town) again  which can be found at Kraftyhands

 

As I said yesterday, I felt these papers really were best left to lead the way.  It seemed so wrong to cover these up, but I really had to slap my hands to stop adding more embellishments!   They team perfectly with Kraft so these bags were ideal to be altered.  I think they came from Hobby Craft in packs of so many.

SIMPLY SHABBY

Morning all,

The card I am sharing today is one I made way back in February this year.  I was experimenting with different style at the time, trying to build up a variety fo stock to take to some Craft Fairs in the Summer.

Here I was experimenting with using some of my goodies at Live and Love Crafts again. (How I love that shop!).  And, of course I used some stash products as well.

I am almost to the end of my saved photos now so my posts may may become not be quite so frequent as it will be a case of posting cards as I make them.  Unless I find some more that I have not posted yet that is, as I do have a sneeky feeling theremay be another folder lurking with some more in.  Watch this space.....

VINTAGE SANTA

I am here this morning to share a card which I have made for this Christmas.  I did not want this one to be too girly so it was a bit of a challenge.

I think the image is a Kanban Topper but am unsure of this.  if so, I purchased it locally.
The design has been carried to the inside, there is a discreet pocket at the left side and you will see I have had fun using Tim Holtz dies.

KRAFTYHANDS CHALLENGE - 'No squares allowed'

Hi everyone,

I have a DT card to share today which I have made for the Challenge at Kraftyhands which is themed 'No Squares Allowed'.   Well this is just up my street, you know how I love making different shaped cards.

I toyed with this idea and that idea and eventually came up with this easel card upon a box.

A TOUCH OF SHABBY

Morning all,

Today, I have something a little different.  This dates back to January this year when I was playing with my lovely Cheery Lynn flower dies.  This ties in with my phase of envelope making too.  Oh and can you see the Frantage on the flowers I made?  Apart from all that, it is very much a stash card.  I think the papers could be DCWV but I  am not sure now as it was a good while ago when I made it.  Itmade me wonder just what we will all be making in January this year?  Has anyone any plans?  Or do things just  happen?

NOOR DESIGNS AT CHRISTMAS

Morning all,

Today I am sharing another card using the goodies I have recently purchased from Tracey's online Shop called Noor Designs UK 
and using this lovely Topper in the form of an embossed image which I made using one of the very first Cuttlebug Embossing folders that I bought.


Well to be honest I started off trying to make some very quick and simple Christmas cards, to post which needed to be flat. Boy did I struggle.  In face I gave up in the end, I just could not do it.  All I wanted to do was to add my embellishments.  This is the best I could come up with, but it is NOT flat! 

So, this is as clean and simple and as flat I could get!  It is such a shame that the sparkle does not show on the photo.
