CMD - ONIONS!

Hi all

You know what it is like when someone asks you to make a card for a male?  Well, my heart dropped, but I am always up for a Challenge, and I really did not like to say no this time, so off I went on my merry little way of struggle!  I was also asked for this to be based around the hobby of a Gardener.  Well, I looked through my images and stamps, and the only image that I could find that was anything like appropriate was a topper from Cardmaker's Delights with ONIONS as the feature. Blimey!  How does one make a card using an Onions topper! lol  Anyhow this is what I came up with.

The papers are a mixture from DCWV and  Noor Designs UK ('Spring').   The die-cuts are Tim Holtz and Cheery Lynn.  I could not resist adding the cheesecloth, and I found the little carrot buttons and the wooden leaves in my stash.

The edges are inked with Tim Holtz Distress ink and I have added Frantage.  That actually transformed it in my view.  Then I carried the design to the inside adding a pocket in which is slotted a Kraft Tag.

So, there we have it!  At the same time, I made another male card alongside this one.  I very rarely just make one card at a time!  I will post the second card on Friday for you to see.

Thanks for looking today,

Judy x
