ALTERED MINI NOTEPAD - Sylvia Zet Hobby House topper

Hi all

Today I have something a little different to share.  It is a mini notepad.  I took the front cover off and replaced it with a cover of my own.  Here is the result.

I used this lovely image created by Sylvia Zet in the form of a Hobby House Topper.  Isn't this gorgeous!  (http://www.thehobbyhouse.co.uk/die-cut-card-toppers-c46/wee-card-toppers-by-sylvia-zet-c47/the-hobby-house-wee-stamps-little-friends-p1847

There is not a lot to tell about this one to be honest, it was a case of gathering things from my stash.  Lace, pearls etc.

As always, thanks for looking,

TUSSIE MUSSIE NO 4

Hi everyone,

I have another Tussie Mussie to share.  You may remember I had a phase of making these lovely shabby creations having stumbled upon them with this lovely name!  This is my version of one.

For this one I started off with an 8 inch square of paper.  You may remember I tried two ways, one with a square and one with a circle cut in half.  I liked both ways to be honest.

This time I used papers from my stash and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, although they were a gift to me from a dear friend!  The lace and other bits and pieces were from my stash.

Thanks for looking today,

ELISABETH BELL HOBBY HOUSE TOPPER

Hi all

Today I have a card to share which I made using this gorgeous image created by Elisabeth Bell in the form of a Hobby House Topper.  I love these toppers, they really do cut out some time by not having to colour the image.  This lovely image makes me think of Easter,  Could she be carrying her Easter basket?  I think so!

For the shape I started off with a Go Kreate die and you will see I have used a mixture of Cheery Lynn dies too.  The papers are from LOTV and the lovely embellishments are from Live and Love Crafts. Everything else, including the lace came from either my stash or it weas purchased locally.  Although the photograph has not picked it up the flower have a slight sparkle, using Stickles glitter glue.

I tried something a bit different here and made two lace bows.  I quite like the effect too.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges:

NOOR DESIGNS UK SKETCH CHALLENGE -

Hi all

Well, having entered no Challenges for some time  I now have cards to enter two days running.

Today I have another set to share    It is a bit photo heavy I am afraid, but it is the best way to explain just what I have done.
These are the links to two of the shops I use:

I made this set for the March Photo Inspiration Challenge at Noor Designs UK
Just look at this smashing Sketch!  I love working to sketches so this was one that really jumped out at me.

I had such fun doing this.  I opted to make a card and co-ordinating Cake slice box. There is a fabulous template for this in the lovely Dutch Doobadoo Range at Tracy's shop found here:  http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/

The papers are Joy papers, from Noor Designs UK.
The bunting die, circle die and can you just see the diamond die too peeping through at the sides of the image?  Well, they are Joy dies , again from Noor Designs UK.  The Joy papers are smashing and a fraction of the price of some papers on the market.  The dies, well the ones I have used so far all cut lovely.

It goes without saying that I just love the Dutch Doobadoo range.  The templates are brilliant and easy to use.  In addition I have used the Dutch Doobadoo structure paste and then sprinkled fine glitter on, for the icing on the cake and the die-cuts.  Love the Structure paste!

Most of the embellishments are from Live and Love Crafts.

The image and anything else came from my stash.

What a lovely Challenge this is!  And, of course I would like to enter this into the Challenge at  Noor Designs UK

LIVE AND LOVE CRAFTS - March Photo Inspiration

Hi all

My apologies for not being around lately.  I have had quite a lot on, including another Magazine Commission that came in.  I love doing these, but when they arrive it is a case of head down and focus as there is always a deadline to meet.  I have not had one for a while so this was a surprise, a nice one too.

Today I have a set to share which I made using these gorgeous materials from Live and Love Crafts.  Of course I just could not resist digging into my Noor Designs and Cheery Lynn dies too.  That just about sums up the materials I used to be honest, apart from items from my stash.   It is a bit photo heavy I am afraid, but it is the best way to explain just what I have done.
These are the links to two of the shops I use:

I made this set for the March Photo Inspiration Challenge at Live and Love Crafts

Just look at this gorgeous photo!  Well, this was just up my street!

I had such fun doing this.  I opted to make a card and co-ordinating altered Notebook/Organiser.  I think the images were from PION, apart from the front image to the card and that one I found in my stash.  It just went perfect for not just the photo, but the theme too.

What a lovely Challenge this is!  And, of course I would like to enter this into the Challenge at Live and Love Crafts

NOOR/DUTCH DOOBADOO Gift Bag - embossed

Hi everyone,

If  I am not bombarding you with my Tussie Mussies, it is with Gift bags" Haha.

I have another small gift bag to share today which I have made using the lovely Dutch Doobadoo stencil from Noor Design Uk.  The lovely heart die is also a Joy one (Noor).  I cannot re-iterate how easy this was to draw around and to cut out.    I kept it very simple this time.  This time I tried an embossed version.  The photo does not do it justice at all I am afraid.

The embellishments were from Live and Love Crafts and anythng else came from my stash.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

NOOR/DUTCH DOOBADOO GIFT BAG

Hi everyone,

I have another small gift bag to share today which I have made using the lovely Dutch Doobadoo stencil from Noor Design Uk.  The lovely heart die is also a Joy one (Noor).  As I said yesterday, this bag was so easy to make up.  I simply took a pencil to draw around the shape and cut it out. It is mainly straight edges so was quite straight forward.  I did not bother with the handle as I wanted to use ribbon for the handles anyway.

The papers I used are from LOTV

For this design I took inspiration from Tracy at Noor Designs UK

The embellishments were from Live and Love Crafts and anythng else came from my stash.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

Morning all

And a very happy Monday morning to you.  Where has the weekend gone to!  They seem to fly by so quickly don't they.

This morning I have another Tussie Mussie to show you.  This is my version of one.  I went a bit mad when making these, I was just so inspired and loved making them.  This one was made by starting off with an 8 inch square of paper.

Hi everyone,

I have a DT card to share today which I have made for the Challenge at Kraftyhands which is themed 'One for the Mums'.

Well, I delved into the gorgeous 'English Country Garden' pack of postcard toppers from Kraftyhands.  I just love this set and to be honest I was spoilt for choice for this theme as to which to use.   These lovely papers are from the 'Kew' 6 inch pack at Kraftyhands and were a perfect match to give the effect I wanted to achieve.

The lovely dies from Noor came into action again, and I added the gorgeous Doobadoo Structure Paste.  I am loving this stuff! Again from ( Noor Designs Uk)

The embellishments were from Live and Love Crafts and anythng else came from my stash.

FUSSY & FANCY FRIDAY CHALLENGE - Ribbons and Lace

Hi everyone,

I am delighted to be back with a Design Team card to share which I made for the Challenge at  Fussy and Fancy

It is my turn to host this Challenge, the  theme is entitled  'Ribbons and Lace' and we are sponsored by Ribbon Girl

I opted to make my version of another Magic Card.  Why they call it that I have not a clue as there is nothing magic about it.  But the name has a nice ring to it I think.

I think this lovely Vintage image may well have come from Magic Moonlight but am not sure.  I am sure if you sit and browse the lovely shop at Ribbon Girl you will spot many items I have used, including the cheesecloth, the lovely edging lace and the beaded lace at the top.  Some of the flowers are obtainable there also.

The papers are from LOTV and several items came from my stash.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!
