WOW!!!!! LOOK AT THIS!

wow!!!!  LOOK AT THIS!

Look what Tracy has added to her shop today!

Head over to http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/ourshop/cat_1180857-New-Crafteezee-Collection-Monthly.html  and take a look!

How good is this!  A Crafteezee Monthly Collection = and this month's theme is 'NAUTICAL'  This will be so useful when entering Challenges, great for greeting cards, especially the tricky male cards.  I always think cards are much more straight forward if we have the right materials, and here Tracy has put together a collection of her own favourite goodies to this theme.  So, cardmaking, or altering, making gift bags, boxes, they should be so much easier to make with everything to hand.

Orders have to be in by 13 July, so do not delay!

JULY Nautical Crafteezee Collection

THINKING

Morning everyone

I am here again this morning with another card I made last week.  Isn't this image just gorgeous.  I wish I could remember where I found her.  I think it could have been Janet K.  It was a freebie image anyway.

This was quite a simple card for me but I still love the effect.

The border dies are JOY and available from http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/

The lovely die peeping at the top left is a Mixed Media die by Tim Holtz.  This comes in a lovely set.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts but again there is a lovely range now at http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/  Can you see the cheesecloth peeping through?  Love cheesecloth for texture!

And finally the charms were from good old old eBay.

Thanks for looking today

FLORAL EASEL

Morning everyone

I am sharing today a card which I made a while ago.  It is sometime since I made a shaped card, and I could well be inspired to start making them again.  I absolutely love Fancy Folds, they aremore difficult to photograph at times, but I love making them.

The papers were from mu stash,as were the laces, apartfrom the lovely trim and that was from Live and Love Crafts.  I notice now that Tracy at Noor Designs UK is stocking a lovely selection of laces and trims plus some fabulous flowers.  Well in fact  it has become a real one stop shop!  ( http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/)

The die at the top right and base are JOY die, as are the banner and also the tag at the right and the border dies wereeither JOY or Marianne, but they are all from http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/

The flowers were from Live and Love Crafts, but again there is a lovely range now at http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/

I would like to enter this into the Challenge at http://scrapcardschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/
where the theme is shaped cards and flowers.  What a lovely theme!

Hi everyone

It is an excited me tuning in today.  I have just seen that I am invited to be Guest Designer for the lovely Challenge Blog at http://wlvc.blogspot.co.uk/  so you will guess I am doing the happy dance!  I love doing Guest Designer posts, and it is ages since I did one.

HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW

Yes, back again, and Yes it is two in one day again.  If you would like to see the first post please just scroll down the page.

I think I am quite missing being on Design Teams now.  At one time I was on seven but then I cut it down.  Now I am only on the one at the lovely Fussy & Fancy which I love.  Being on Design Teams does give motivation and lots of inspiration too.

Well, I spotted a lovely challenge over at The Allsorts Challenge Blog.  What a lovely theme!  'How Does your Garden Grow'  Considering all the rain we have had lately here on the North East Coast (not forgetting the aweful fog which I know is irrelevan but I had to mention it ! lol) our garden is quite wet at the moment.

I made this card last week and think it fits the bill quite well for this challenge.

Again this is very much a stash card, using lots of embellishments from my stash etc.  The die is from Noor Designs UK and is a JOY die.  I think the image is probably from Magic Moonlight.  I loved making this card.

MAGIC MOONLIGHT VINTAGE

Hi everyone

I am here today to share a creation I made recently.  I have only recently got the photos uploaded to be honest.

I decided to try a slightly different layout for a change, it is one that sort of just happened, if you know what I mean?   I really did not know what I had in mind so I just decided to go with the flow.  I ended up sort of using up scraps, which as most of you will know I just love doing.

The image is from Magic Moonlight and the two dies are Tim Holtz on the edge dies.  The roses are from Wild Ordchid Crafts and everything else came from my stash.

I would love to enter this into the challenge at http://frillyandfunkie.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/pastels-and-pearls-challenge.html   where the theme is 'Pastels and Pearls'  What a fabulous theme!

As always, thanks for looking today

FUSSY & FANCY FRIDAY - Say it with Flowers

Hi everyone,

It has got around to another challenge at Fussy and Fancy !  This challenge is hosted by

Nathalie

The theme is entitled 'Say it with flowers'  and we are sponsored by  http://www.magnoliastamps.us/

This lovely Tilda image was coloured up by a friend of mine some time ago.  She is still one of my favourites.  It has not photographed as well as I would like to be honest, it has come out a bit dark is is much better in real life.

Virtually everything else came from my stash.  The flowers would be from Wild Orchid Crafts  and Live and  Love Crafts and those lovely pearls were a gift at Christmas.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

WE LOVE VINTAGE

Back again!

Right, here is the second post today.  If you would like to see the first post please just scroll down.

This time I have made another card for the lovely Challenge over at http://wlvc.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/challenge-70-en-random-winnaar-69.html

I just fancied doing it!  The challenge theme is 'vintage' and butterflies.  Well I enjoyed making one the other day so much I got carried away and made another one.  I love butterflies, and it is ages since I used them on a card, once I got started  there was no stopping me.  The punch I used is an old one and one that I tend to reach for whenever I need a butterfly.

The shape is one which I used to make such a lot.  It is simply a square card but I cut 3 inches off the front and overlapped the image slightly.  Here is a photo of the inside to try and explain:

I think I should maybe make some more shaped cards yes?  We all like a change now and again don't we?

The papers were from Live and Love Crafts as were the flowers (apart from the pink one which was from Noor Designs UK).  In addition the Rosette Ribbon and Shabby ribbon were both from Live and Love Crafts.  The Tulle trim was from Noor designs UK  and everything else came from my stash.

Again, I inked the edges, and the die-cut is from a Sweet Dixie heart die.  You would never know would you?  It is such a pretty die and so useful.

LIVE AND LOVE CRAFTS SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hi everyone

I am here with another two postings tonight.  Again, one for each Challenge.  This time the first one is a Sketch at Live and Love Crafts (nice Sketch Becky)

Well I had such fun playing with my goodies from Live and Love Crafts - (papers, flowers, rosette ribbon, tulle trim, shabby ribbon, cheesecloth  and wooden stars).  I just love these papers!

After inking the edges I added Glitter paste which was purchased locally.  The image is from Magic Moonlight.

I opted to make a card and co-ordinating gift bag.  The die-cut on the Gift Bag is a Joy die from Noor Designs UK.   The die-cut on the card is a very pretty Sweet Dixie heart die.  I cut the top off to use, and everything else was from my stash.

Becky's Sketch ws a joy to work to.

I would like to enter this into the challenge at http://liveandlovecrafts.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/challenge-48-beckys-sketch.html

Thanks for looking, and I will be back soon with the next one.

Here comes Summer AT NOOR DESIGNS UK SHOP AND CHALLENGE

Back again with my second post of the day.

Right, so this is the second post today.  If you would like to see my first post please just scroll down.

WHOOPS!

I LOOKED AT IT wrong!   The lovely Challenge is entitled Here Comes Summer at Noor!

Spring flowers is now Here comes Summer?  How good is that!    Well, I find it hard to make a card without roses on it, and I am sure Roses will be a spring flower in some Countries, but I could not resist these lovely flowers from Noor Designs UK.   And now my card still fits the Challenge of Summer.  Life just gets better! lol I forget their name, but just take a look in the embellishments/flowers section in Tracy's shop at Noor Desigs UK and you will be lost in an online garden!  In fact just make a cuppa and browse the whole shop,  It really is a one stop shop now!  There are such a lot of lovely goodies to be had.

I think this image could be from Magic Moonlight, but not sure.

The lovely Tulle trim was from Live and Love Crafts, but again it is now in stock at Noor.  The lovely papers are from Noor too, but true to form I have covered them up! lol  OMGoodness!  I was lost for choice when I checked out the papers and all so lovely!

After inking the edges and adding Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste (love this stuff!, again from Noor Designs UK) to the Cheery Lynn die-cuts I added bits and pieces from my stash.

Well, here you have it, my entry into the challenge at  Noor Designs Uk - Here comes Summer

Again, many thanks for looking, and Happy Sunday!

VINTAGE, SPRING FLOWERS AND BUTTERFLIES

Hi everyone,

Well, it has been quiet on my Blog lately I know.  I have been working on a batch of cards to take to the Summer Craft Fairs. Whilst doing this I decided to focus on a couple of challenges with a card, at the same time.  Why?  Well there are two lovely Challenges on the go at the moment with  http://noordesign-uk.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/spring-flower-challenge-18.html  and  http://wlvc.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/challenge-70-en-random-winnaar-69.html  with lovely themes.  So my focus was on Vintage, Spring Flowers and Butterflies.  Well don't we all love butterflies?  I know I do.  And as for the flowers, well it goes without saying for me!

BUT I got carried away!  Well there are no surprises there! lol  So I have made a card for each challenge.  Yes, that means you will get two postings in one day!  This is the first one.

This is what I came up with.  Actually, I delived into my box of die-cuts and hooked out ones I had not used for ages.  The die-cuts are made up of Tim Holtz on the edge butterflies die, a lovely Joy border die (which is just peeping through at the top there and a really old Marianne Creations corner die.  After inking all the edges I added Glitter paste (purchased locally)

The butterflies are made from a punch and then covered with glitter paste, very lightly.

You will see a little mixed media peeping through at the right side, this is a Tim Holtz Mixed Media die.  Again I have used the Glitter paste.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and also Live and Love Crafts, the image was from Cardmaker's Delights and everything else came from my stash.

I would like to enter this into the Challenge at We Love Vintage (Vintage and butterflies)

Thanks for looking, I will be back very soon with my next one.
