ONE STITCH AT A TIME CHALLENGE #141 - 'Fabric, Ribbon or Lace'

Hi everyone

Well isn't it just great Crafting weather here in the UK today.  It is pouring with rain here on the North East Coast.

Just a little heads up incase anyone is interested.  I have some stamps for sale on EBay, they are mostly unused ones.  There is a link on my sidebar.

Here we are again with a DT post for One Stitch at a Time.  The theme this week is a fabulous one, simply 'Fabric, Ribbon or Lace'.  How good is that!  (I went for ribbon and lace)  I have used this lovely image by   Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps called 'Clover Heart', well,  I fancied doing something nice and bright and cheerful so went for Christmassy colours.  I love making cards which would be suitable for Christmas or Winter birthdays.

FANCY A BIT OF VINTAGE?

Hi everyone,

What a busy week I am having, I just do not know where the time goes to. I know for certain it did not go so quickly when i was working!  There just does not seem to be enough hours in the day!

You may remember me saying I had been playing with my new goodies which i won recently.  Well this is the second card I made.  It looks so much better in real life, the photo just does not do it justice. I find easel cards so hard to photograph.   You will gather I am really pleased with the result.  It is not often we are chuffed with something we have made is it.

I just love this image from Magic Moonlight.  I first spotted this on Betty's Blog
and I knew right away I wanted to use it on a card.  And of course I used my favourite colour - PINK!  Anyhow, here it is:

Die-cuts:  Cheery Lyn Doily and Magnolia Tag
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts (painted with white paint and glitter added)
Papers:  Pion from Live and Love Crafts
Apart from a few things froim my stash everything else is from Live and Love Crafts

I worked to a fabulous Sketch :

Thanks for looking, and I hope you all have a lovely weekend,

TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS FOLDS

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share which I made for one or two Challenges.  I opted to make an Easel Card for a change, and was aiming for something that could be Traditional Christmas, but so that it could be suitable for all  year through, or even for a January Birthday.  So I  opted for the Traditional Christmas colours.  I have kept it fairly CAS but actually there was a lot of work here.  It was a joy to make though.

Magnolia Tilda stamped image coloured with Copics
LOTV flower stamp coloured with Copics
