UNLOADED BAG

Morning everyone

Here I have an empty loaded bag which I made recently.  I just loved making these.  The idea is that there are pockets here and there, and then the bag is stuffed with little bits of this and that to form gifts.  I just love this idea.

The papers and flowers and pearl button were from Noor Design UK and the rest came from my stash.

Thanks for looking,

SHABBY GIFT BAG

Morning everyone

And a very happy Crunchie Friday to you all! lol

Today I have another Gift bag to show you.  I made this back in the Summer.  I think the papers might have been from a JOY pad but I am not sure.  The flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts and Noor Design UK, and the lace came from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by, and a very happy weekend to you all.

GIFT BAG

Morning everyone

Thursday already!  Where is the week going to!  It seems to be flying by so fast!

I am sharing a photo of a Gift bag I made some time ago.  I think this could be suitable for many occasions, even Christmas.

I am not sure which papers I used now to be honest, (they could be from a Tim Holtz pad) but the embellishments were a mixture from Wild Orchid Crafts, Noor Design UK and of course from my stash.

As always, thanks for stopping by,

NOOR DESIGNS UK - CRAFTEEZE MONTHLY COLLECTION - YULETIDE - (Limited Edition)

Hi everyone

I am delighted to be here today as a new member of the Design Team at http://noordesign-uk.blogspot.co.uk/ and am sharing some inspiration from the fabulous Crafteeze monthly Collection which Tracy has put together at  http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/ focusing on her favourite things.

So, first of all, a little bit about the Crafteeze monthly Collections which are Limited Edition. Each month is to a different theme.  This month is YULETIDE.    Tracy tries to source ALL NEW items each month for the collections and if there are any left over they will go into the store and if not, just those that purchased the kit will receive.

Well, when I received my Yuletide Collection I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt I was absolutely in awe.  In fact I really need two!  One to use and one to look at!  lol  Receiving this Collection, which is to a different theme each month, means it is going to be the highlight of the month for me, and better still I have no idea what will be included in it.  I notice that the next Collection for October is entitled 'Art Deco'    WOW!  I cannot wait!

So onto what I made.  Now I was short of time when I was making this, so I just had to go with my instinct.  When I saw the lovely plain gift bag there in the kit waiting to be prettied up that was my starting point.  And then I went from there.

The 6 inch  papers from the Crafteeze Collection are Pion North Pole, a lovely selection and the image is from the same brand which fortunately I had already purchased along with the pregathered lace from  http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/

The JOY Lattice Edge die-cuts I feel do tend to widen it out a little and add a little extra to the design.  There is also a lovely JOY Stars edge border die at the top.

Virtually all the embellishments are from the Crafteeze Collection and I have added Dutch Doobadoo Structure Paste to the stars.  I just love the lace featured at the top.  There are so many possibilities for using this, I just did not want to cut into it!

I finished it off with the fabulous Vintage Seam Binding which I am absolutely in love with.  This is available in the shop in different colours.  I chose white and Ivory.  When it arrived I just could not believe my eyes.  I had ordered several colours and placed together they looked so yummySat there together they just reminded me of Mr Whippy ice cream!

I will list below the items I have used, apart from items from my own stash.  Full details can be seen on the Blog at http://noordesign-uk.blogspot.co.uk/ also.

LIVE AND LOVE CRAFTS SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hi everyone

I am here with another two postings tonight.  Again, one for each Challenge.  This time the first one is a Sketch at Live and Love Crafts (nice Sketch Becky)

Well I had such fun playing with my goodies from Live and Love Crafts - (papers, flowers, rosette ribbon, tulle trim, shabby ribbon, cheesecloth  and wooden stars).  I just love these papers!

After inking the edges I added Glitter paste which was purchased locally.  The image is from Magic Moonlight.

I opted to make a card and co-ordinating gift bag.  The die-cut on the Gift Bag is a Joy die from Noor Designs UK.   The die-cut on the card is a very pretty Sweet Dixie heart die.  I cut the top off to use, and everything else was from my stash.

Becky's Sketch ws a joy to work to.

I would like to enter this into the challenge at http://liveandlovecrafts.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/challenge-48-beckys-sketch.html

Thanks for looking, and I will be back soon with the next one.

QUICK ALTERATIONS

Hi everyone,

This was part of an easel card Imade some time ago and which I recently took to pieces and made two Gift bags from.

The die is a JOY die from Noor Designs UK and the flowers are from Live and Love Crafts.  Everything else is from my stash.  I think the papers could be from a Prima pad.  I am really enjoying using up old papers and stash.

Well, surprise surprise, another bag! lol  I loved making these and will definitely be making more for next year.  This is something that just materialised when i was playing.  And of course it is the lovely Dutch Doobadoo Star template again.

This design was actually so simple but I really like the effect.  The image was from Magic Moonlight (I think), the bagtwas from Hobbycraft and the rest werefrom my stash.

PENNY BLACK ALTERED GIFT BAG

Morning everyone

You may remember a couple of posts ago I rambled on with a story about a very happy Summer?  Well this is another panel which I have used.  This one was a de-embossed panel (well that is my name for it).

My friend used this lovely Penny Black image.  Wen I did get onto stamping I think Penny Black images were probably oneof the first I used.  I gathered quite a collection of those lovely wooden stamps and looking at this here I am thinking I should dig them out again!

The bag itself is self explanatory really.  A few ribbon bows, some pom pom trim and an embossed panel.  And of coursefinished off withsome baubles.

ELZYBELL GIFT BAG -and a very happy Summer

Morning everyone

When I was very first introduced to stamping it was by a lovely friend of mine.  At that time she was very into stamping with the lovely Elzybell images.  Well, I had not tried stamping and I must say we had the most lovely happy Summer that year.  There is a vast distance geographically and I was embossing away making part embossed panels whilst my friend was happily stamping and colouring.  Parcels were whizzing back and forth with me sending lots of part embossed panels and then some were retained and others boomeranged back tome with these lovely images stamped and coloured! We had a real little production line going and Royal Mail must have been clapping their hands! lol They were such happy times,  So this is how this altered bag stemmed from.  I had one or two panels left over  (yes we were really ahead that Christmas!) so this Summer I decided to use some of them up, and what better way than to make an altered Gift Bag to takie to theCraft Fairs.  Well you know me and gift bags!

How is the lead up to Christmas going for you?  I have everything made but still a lot to do.

I used the Sponsor's image and yes I have been colouring!.  Actually I really love this image, I am sure you will too.

I used papers from a Pack from Wild Rose Studio.

The base of the card is used from the Star template from Dutch Doobadoo (from Noor Designs UK)
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
and items from my stash.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

CHRISTMAS ALTERED GIFT BAG

Morning everyone,

Well we are getting nearer to Christmas, so yes another gift bag!  I hope you are not bored with gift bags yet?!  I am certainly not bored with making them.  This one just sort of materialised.   I was looking at the lovely papers from Wild Rose Studio, and they just seemed too pretty to cover up with embellishments ( Like I do! )   Well, a few bits of lace and embellishments later this materialised.  The tree trim I purchased locally.  Apparently it is French, but isn't it lovely!

How is the Christmas shopping coming along?

As always thanks fgor looking,

DUTCH DOOBADOO A4 GIFT BAG

Hi everyone,

Today I have a gift bag to share with you which I made in the early part of the year.  Again I have used the lovely Dutch Doobadoo template from Noor Designs Uk.  The Joy star die should be available at the same shop, but if not in stock it is worth asking Tracy to get it for you.  The image isa Hero Arts stamp and the image has beenc oloured with copics.  The rest is self explanatory really.

One thing though, although it is called an A4 bag, that is not the finished size.  The whole bag template is on a sheet of A4.  So easy to assemble, and I just love it!

SHABBY ALTERED GIFT BAG

Morning everyone

So - how is the Christmas shopping going?  I am doing well with mine.  You know how I always like to work ahead?  Well I tend to be the same with Christmas and now I am pleased that  do this.

Well you know how I love making the altered gift bags!  Actually when making for the craft fairs I got a bit bag happy!

I always love the embossed look, I do not know what I would do without my embossing folders.  And somehow this design materialised by just experimenting with trying this and that.  I loved the design and went a bit mad making more in this way with different papers and colours etc.

CHRISTMAS ALTERED GIFT BAG

Hi everyone

Here I have a photo of an altered Gift bag I made a little while ago when I was building stock for the Craft Fairs.

The large tree is from a Dutch Doobadoo template from Noor Designs UK.  The hessian tree is from a set of decorations I purchased locally and the papers are from LOTV

This is quite plain but I actually do like it!

SO VERSATILE

Hi everyone.

Quite some months ago I made a card using the  Petite Patisserie Die-cut Toppers from
http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/   Well, this is the same card transformed into an altered Gift Bag.  It just shows how versatile a card can be.  We don't have to stick to just cards, but there are so many other papercrafting ideas they can be used for.  A gift Bag is just one of many.  And I love making Gift bags!  What do you enjoy making other than cards?

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

FUSSY & FANCY FRIDAY CHALLENGE - COLOUR CHOICE

Hi everyone,

I am delighted to be back with a Design Team card to share which I made for the Challenge at  Fussy and Fancy

Gunn-Eirell is hosting this Challenge, the  theme is entitled 'Colour Choice ' (Orange,Black, Purple - choose at least two colours ) and we are sponsored by  Ribbon Girl

As Halloween is approaching I set out to make a shabby chic 'Trick and Treat Bag'.  I started by making this little bag but got a bit carried away and decided it needed a big Sister!  Well, what is a girl to do when she is on a roll!  Haha

I actually used purple vellum which I embossed in place of designer papers.  Then just a tinge of glitter.  Unfortunately the sparkle does not show on the photos.

The lovely springs came from Live and Love Crafts and everything else from my stash.

This is the pair together:

I think the Vintage image was a freebie from Janet K.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

KRAFTYHANDS BLOG POST

Hi everyone,

It is my turn today to post on the Blog at  Kraftyhands found here   Don't forget too that there is a lovely challenge each month.  It would be lovely to see you all joining in.

I have a photo to share of a gift bag I made using the lovely Dutch Doobadoo A4 gift bag template.  This is simply cut from one A4 sheet of card.  ( Found here)  I find these so easy to use and quite addictive!

I have used the lovely 'Kew' papers from Kraftyhands shop  I think these have to be one of my favourite packs of papers!  The heart die is from Noor Designs UK  and I layered a smaller heart die-cut using the same papers onto the fancy heart die-cut.  You will see that lace has been used for the handle.  I like this better than the handle on the template to be honest.

The embellishments are from Live and Love Crafts and as always anything else is from my stash.

Thanks for looking today everyone, and I hope you have a lovely day,

DUTCH DOOBADOO Gift bag template at Noor

Hi all

Today is gift bag day!  Well it is for me anyway.  This little gift bag was made using this fabulous template by Dutch Doobadoo from Noor Designs UK.  It is made using one sheet of A4 card BUT on this occasion I took the same shape and design but cut it down slightly to make a smaller gift bag.  I had a good reason for doing this - I wish I could remember what it was! lol

The Joy papers are from Noor Designs UK and the embellishments are from  my stash.  You will see I did not bother using the handles on the template.  I replaced this with lace making my own handles and must say I love the effect.

As always, thanks for looking,
