VINTAGE LADY

Hi everyone

I am just touching base with a card I made recently but first would like to apologise for it being quiet on my Blog recently.  I will be continuing to post my Design Team cards but it may go a little quiet, apart from that, for a couple of months.  Rest assured I will be back though!

However, I would like to thank you all for your lovely comments I have been receiving.  I do appreciate them.  Thank you!

So, here is my card with one of my favourite images.   I have used mainly items from Crafteezee (formerly Noor Design UK) and Wild Orchid Crafts.  Anything else came from my stash.

I hope you are all enjoying the Summer.

Until next time

A MAGIC MOONLIGHT MOMENT

Hi everyone

I had a Magic Moonlight Moment here.  I have always loved this image from Magic Moonlight and it is one I turn to very often whilst looking through their selection of free images.

There are one or two die-cuts peeping through here and there.  Everything came from Wild Orchid Crafts. Noor Design UK and my stash.

Have a good weekend everyone.  And thanks for stopping by.

VINTAGE AT MAGIC MOONLIGHT

Morning everyone

This is a scheduled post.  When this goes live, I should be well on my way to a Craft Fair weekend with all my makes.  Without first checking, I think this will be one of them.  Fingers crossed for good weather this weekend!

I think I am right in saying this was an image from Magic Moonlight.  If not Magic Moonlight then it could be Janet K.  Again, it was very much a case of using up my stash, and as a lot of you know I love doing this.  The two die-cuts are Tim Holtz on the edge dies.  Love these!  I use them time and again.  The butterflies are punches.    The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the rest is from my stash.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking,

VINTAGE SHABBY BLUE

Monring everyone

Can you believeit is Saturday already!  The weeks are just flying by.  Here we are in July already!  I think this means it is official, I can start making Christmas cards!  I love making Christmas cards!  Love making them, but do not like writing them.

Well, this morning I am sharing a card photo which I made very recently.

The image is from Magic Moonlight.  I have gone a bit mad on embellishments, mostly items from  http://noordesign-shop.co.uk/, Wild Orchid Crafts and items from my stash.

Thanks for looking today and a very Happy Weekend.

MAGIC MOONLIGHT VINTAGE

Hi everyone

I am here today to share a creation I made recently.  I have only recently got the photos uploaded to be honest.

I decided to try a slightly different layout for a change, it is one that sort of just happened, if you know what I mean?   I really did not know what I had in mind so I just decided to go with the flow.  I ended up sort of using up scraps, which as most of you will know I just love doing.

The image is from Magic Moonlight and the two dies are Tim Holtz on the edge dies.  The roses are from Wild Ordchid Crafts and everything else came from my stash.

I would love to enter this into the challenge at http://frillyandfunkie.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/pastels-and-pearls-challenge.html   where the theme is 'Pastels and Pearls'  What a fabulous theme!

As always, thanks for looking today

WE LOVE VINTAGE

Back again!

Right, here is the second post today.  If you would like to see the first post please just scroll down.

This time I have made another card for the lovely Challenge over at http://wlvc.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/challenge-70-en-random-winnaar-69.html

I just fancied doing it!  The challenge theme is 'vintage' and butterflies.  Well I enjoyed making one the other day so much I got carried away and made another one.  I love butterflies, and it is ages since I used them on a card, once I got started  there was no stopping me.  The punch I used is an old one and one that I tend to reach for whenever I need a butterfly.

The shape is one which I used to make such a lot.  It is simply a square card but I cut 3 inches off the front and overlapped the image slightly.  Here is a photo of the inside to try and explain:

I think I should maybe make some more shaped cards yes?  We all like a change now and again don't we?

The papers were from Live and Love Crafts as were the flowers (apart from the pink one which was from Noor Designs UK).  In addition the Rosette Ribbon and Shabby ribbon were both from Live and Love Crafts.  The Tulle trim was from Noor designs UK  and everything else came from my stash.

Again, I inked the edges, and the die-cut is from a Sweet Dixie heart die.  You would never know would you?  It is such a pretty die and so useful.

VINTAGE KNITTING

Hi everyone,

Well here we have a photo from my folder of saved files, and this time it is something non-festive.  I just adore this image from Magic Moonlight.  It is a card I made some time ago, and looking at it makes me think I should do more easel cards.

 Kraftyhands online shop.

The die I used is a Joy die from Noor Designs Uk.  The image is from Magic Moonlight and the embellishments from Live and Love Crafts.  Again I used the lovely Dutch Doobadoo Star and Wine Bottle tag templates adding Structure paste.

VINTAGE CHRISTMAS 1

Hi everyone

So, here is the card I am sharing today.  I made this a good few weeks ago.  This is a Magic Moonlight image.  I just love their freebie images.  I dug out my papers from Live and Love Crafts again.  It was a toss up between Maja and Joy.  I think Maja won the day but Joy came close behind.  The flowers are from Live and Love Crafts and anything else came from my stash.

Still no sign of my Mojo!

FUSSY & FANCY FRIDAY CHALLENGE - Ribbons and Lace

Hi everyone,

I am delighted to be back with a Design Team card to share which I made for the Challenge at  Fussy and Fancy

It is my turn to host this Challenge, the  theme is entitled  'Ribbons and Lace' and we are sponsored by Ribbon Girl

I opted to make my version of another Magic Card.  Why they call it that I have not a clue as there is nothing magic about it.  But the name has a nice ring to it I think.

I think this lovely Vintage image may well have come from Magic Moonlight but am not sure.  I am sure if you sit and browse the lovely shop at Ribbon Girl you will spot many items I have used, including the cheesecloth, the lovely edging lace and the beaded lace at the top.  Some of the flowers are obtainable there also.

The papers are from LOTV and several items came from my stash.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

VINTAGE SHABBY

Morning all,
Here I have another recenly made card.  Another Easel card using the lovely dies from Go Kreate/Spellbinders, Tim Holtz and Cheery Lynn.

I started off making a tag with this lovely Vintage image.  Then I used the tag for the topper on the card, so you will probably nod your head in agreement when I say there was a lot of work in this one.  But you know what?  I loved doing it!

There is lots of sparkle which does not show on the photo.

There is a mixture of embellishments from Wild Orchid Crafts, shabby ribbon from Liveand Love Crafts and items from my stash.  The edges are inked using Tim Holtz distress ink pad and then glittered with Glitter Glue.

Thank you so much for looking.

Have a lovely day,

Judy x

VINTAGE SHABBY/ CHIC SOAP BOX

Hi everyone,

Another quick posting from me.  Tonight I have something a bit different to a card to share.  This is a cross between a box and a soap wrapper.  The bar of soap was to be a small raffle prize at a function Mum was organising so I titivated it up a bit to make it more interesting.

The gorgeous image was from Magic Moonlight and all items were very much from my stash.

I would like to enter this into the challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow

VINTAGE at Cheery Lynn

Hi everyone

I am just stopping by with a card to share which I made for the Challenge at Cheery Lynn where the theme is one of my favourites 'Vintage'.  I have had such fun playing with the Frame, flower and leaves dies from Cheery Lynn and have added a Cheery Lynn Butterfly die-cut too.  The embossing folder is the A4 one which came with my e-Bosser.  (Love this!)  The image is from Magic Moonlight.  I inked the flowers and also the embossing.

GDT at CHEERY LYNN - FRAME IT

Hi and Good Morning everyone,

I am here today sharing another card as Guest Designer for Cheery Lynn for the month of August.

I decided to try and stretch my imagination with different ways to use the Cheery Lynn dies that I have.  I just love this frame and came up with this shaped card.  I have made one of these before but just used c6 plain rectangles.  I love the effect it has achieved and hope you do too.

The Magic Moonlight  image is centralised onto the Fiona's Magic Mirror Frame FRM140  The top inside edges are edged with the Anastasia Border B136  and I have added Frantage after first inking the frame and edges with Tim Holtz Distressing ink.

The two central inside panels have a pocket into which is placed  two Vintage Tags  These are embellished with Ambergris Tiny Doilies DL245

And finally the flowers are made up using the  Chrysanthemum Strip B311  and  Build a Flower #1 B181 dies and these have been inked too.  I had such fun making this.

TIME FOR ANOTHER SKETCH

Hi again,

I am back with another card to share.  Please scroll down for my earlier posting.

This time it is a card which I made using another lovely Sketch for the lovely 'Sketchy Challenge'  I loved using this sketch and am thrilled with the finished result!

As I had used this lovely Clock image from 'Dragon's Lair' (  Found here) I made this card so it would suit all Seasons really.  I do think it would make a lovely Christmas card for those who do not live in UK and have hot climates.  I remember one lady telling me they do not see snow in Australia so she does not send cards with snowmen on.

Papers:  Pion Violet (from Live and Love Crafts)
Images:  Magic Moonlight and Dragon's Lair (Love that Clock image!)
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts
Ribbon and rose trim  from Live and Love Crafts

I would like to enter this into the following Challenges:

Sketchy Challenges - great Sketch

Simply Create Too Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me Challenge - Vintage
Lady Anne's challenge - Anything Goes
