GDT 4 CRAFTY CHICKS - RED AND WHITE

Hi everyone

I am so excited to be here today as Guest Designer at 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge  and this is to be for four weeks too.  There are four brilliant themes so I do hope you are able to play along.  The first one, today, is simply 'Red and White' how lovely is that, and so lovely and bright and cheerful!

There is not a great deal to tell about this card.  The papers are the lovely Tilda papers and the image is a Whiff of Joy one designed by the very talented Elisabeth Bell.  The Magnolia Tag is removable, I have left a little pocket in which to insert it.  It is machine stitched, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves made using the Martha Stewart 'Branch' punch.

Do pop over to 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge Blog for full details, it would be great if you could take part and there is some lovely inspiration to be had from the Design Team.

LAVENDER AND LACE WITH A SKETCH

And again with another one,

Talk about buses all coming at once!

Firstly I would like to say a huge thankyou to you all for your lovely comments.  All followers comments are being recorded for my surprise Christmas candi and every follower's comment will qualify for a further entry.  When I say 'Christmas' this means a little parcel to open Christmas morning, not necessary containing Christmas items.  Hehe I cannot say any more as it might not be a surprise to the lucky recipient! lol  I love giving!
Well I worked to another Sketch here for the Quixotic inspirations and this one I tussled with a bit but got there in the end.  I chose one of my favourite images, 'Willow' is a Whiff of Joy image designed by Elisabeth Bell.  I love it!  The papers are a mixture of Magnolia ones and a real joy to work with.

I chose the colours Lilac and green so this fits in with both the Lavender and Lace Challenge at Allsorts and also 'Lilac and green' for The Ribbon Girl Challenge.

Can you see the cheesecloth peeping through on top of the Cheery Lynn die-cut?  Love those two things!  Again I used two Martha Stewart punches, a border punch and the 'branch' punch for the leaves.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts  and the ribbon, pearls, and lace were from my stash.

WILLOW KNEELING

Hi everyone,

Here I have a card I made for a friend's birthday using this lovely Whiff of Joy Willow image which I have coloured with copics and promarkers.  The lacy edging is a Martha Stewart punch as are the branches.  The bunting is a Whimsey die , WOW this is gorgeous, I love this die!   The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Mulberry Crafts.  I have used Nestabilities die-cuts and a mixture of Magnolia die-cut and Martha Stewart punched leaves.  The flowers are a mixture of Wild Orchid Crafts and Mulberry Crafts.

Does she remind me of a song?  Well yes she does 'Isn't she lovely' by Stevie wonder spring to mind right away!  And this is the Challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop this week!
