Hi everyone
Today sees the midway point for the Challenge at CCAYR,
which is entitled 'Anything but square or rectangle'. Well, this theme was just up my street, so you can imagine I loved making this card. I really do not think you can beat the embossed look for that nice crisp, clean fresh look, and I thought it went well with the snowy look also.

Hi everyone
Today sees the start for the new Challenge at CCAYR,
which is entitled 'Anything but square or rectangle'. Having just purchased recently this lovely Spellbinders Circle die I could not wait to use it and make it into an easel card.

Hi everyone
Today sees the half way mark for the Challenge at CCAYR,
which is entitled 'No Patterned Paper. Well, I am not in my comfort zone making CAS cards so I opted to go for embossing again. I dug out my lovely Cheery Lynn Step Card die, cut the shape and then put it through my e-Bosser using an A4 Embossing Folder. Loved the effect. The snowflake and the top doiley die are both Tim Holtz, as are the trees.

Hi everyone
Today sees the half way mark for the Challenge at CCAYR,
which is entitled 'No Patterned Papers. Well that says only one thing to me, and that is embossing. So this time I opted to make a shaped card using my Go Kreate dies. This is actually a one single sheet card with a small easel at the back. I was not happy with how it was standing (or not standing! lol) so I made a little multifold easel which I popped inside the card fixing both front and back to it. It has now worked a treat!
TO DO THIS:
I cut a piece of card just a little narrower than the width of the card with plenty of length. I then scored at half inches several times, then folded some mountain and valley folds and snipped the extra length off. It then has been stuck inside the two layers.

Hi everyone
Today sees the midway point for the Challenge at CCAYR,
which is entitled 'Embellish It'.
Last time I used a Vintage image, which I absolutely loved so this time I opted to use one of my favourite Christmas images created by Sylvia Zet. The image has been coloured by a friend of mine. This time I decided to use some of my die-cuts and loved the effect of the heart frame die from Cheery Lynn on the front of this Horizontal Multifold card. And of course I was in my element embellishing the card. I hope you have as much fun making for this Challenge as I did.

Well, I do not often use Kraft, not that I do not like it,
so although it is a bit out of my comfort zone and time has been very short so I needed something quite quick, I actually welcomed making this card and this is what I came up with.

Hi everyone
Today sees the half way mark for the Challenge at CCAYR,
which is entitled 'Non Traditional Colours. Well I have been so inspired recently by a lovely Envelope full of tags which Rebecca at http://www.paperprimrose.com/ made recently that I am totally hooked on this, but I actually make them in the form of a card. You will be seeing more of these from me, believe me I am totally hooked! They will be coming in different colours, and all shapes and sizes! Haha - Hey I am not joking! The tags of course are detachable.

Hi everyone
Today sees the start of a new Challenge at CCAYR,
which is entitled 'Non-Traditional Colours'. I must admit I am a bit out of my comfort zone with non-Traditional colours. I love the deep reds and deep greens for Christmas. So I rummaged through my stash and found these pretty lilac papers and this is the result - one little four inch cards and co-ordinating tag. The card is criss cross style front and has a detachable insert. Have you ever made these little four inchers I wonder? I love making these and they are so useful come Christmas.

Hi everyone
Today sees the half way mark for the Challenge at CCAYR,

I am going to be in need of some quite simple little cards so decided to make another little 5 inch card. I used the Magnolia Tilda image again and coloured her with Copics adding Frantage.
This is quite a plain little card for me, but somehow I like it.

Hi everyone
Today sees the half way mark for the Challenge at CCAYR,
which is entitled 'Santa/Santa's hat' and sponsored by Chi Chi Memories
The card blank has a little story to it. Some years ago a friend of mine sent me a couple of card blanks similar to this in with a surprise craft parcel. Well, I just recently came across these in my stash. So, this card is similar to the ones I had sent but I wanted it to be a little larger.
Instructions:
I took a piece of A4 card and trimmed it to five inches wide. I then scored in half and then Half an inch down on one side. I then punched two holes (not easy but I managed it by cutting what had not cut with my little decoupage scissors) and threaded ribbon. From there I then trimmed the front to measure four and one half inches from the second scored fold. The topper (mine measures approx 4 and one half inches long and four inches wide) is then placed centrally so it runs even with the foot of the card so it will stand.

The Cuttlebug Embossed Cottage folder was stamped by the same friend and was in the same box as the card blanks. I added stickles.

Hi everyone
Today sees the start to a new Challenge at CCAYR,
which is entitled 'Santa/Santas hat'
and sponsored by Chi Chi Memories.
I made this card which is a sort of eassel card. It is simply a large die-cut (Go Kreate) cut twice. One piece is scored two inches from the tip and folded. This is then secured to the reverse of the card to form an easel to make it stand. I saw this done by Debbie Dolphin in an old Magnolia ink magazine. Debbie is one talented lady, take a look at her Blog here I am in awe of her work.

Hi everyone
Today sees the half way mark for the Challenge at CCAYR,

I made this step card using the lovely Cheery Lynn Step Card Die. To make it a little quicker as I was a little behind schedule I cut the shape using a sheet of patterned card. The Magnolia Tilda image has been coloured by a friend of mine.
