BUTTERFLY KISS

Hi everyone,

I wonder how your weekend is going so far?  It has been a cold day here and I think it could well be raining now outside.  Good weather for crafting though!

Tonight I have a card to share which I have made using a Digi from Stitchy Bears.  As many of you will know I much refer rubber or clear stamps to Digis, but this one really is the exception.  A real pleasure to work with from start to finish.  What a lovely name she has too - 'Butterfly Kiss'  I have coloured her with mainly Promarkers and copics.

Die-cuts:  Spellbinders Nestabilities
Prima Flowers plus from Wild Orchid Crafts
Lace, ribbon and pearls purchased locally
Pearls and doily from EBay

ONE STITCH AT A TIME DT CHALLENGE #106

Hi folks,

Here we are again with a DT post for One Stitch at a Time.  The theme is an easy one it is simply Anything Goes.
Our sponsors this week are:

with a £10 Gift token  To win this token entrants must use a Sttichy Bear's image.

and for those who wish to enter a non Stitchy Bear image that is fine, these entries will be entered into a draw to win a $3 voucher to spend at Stitchy Bear Stores.

I was lucky enough to work with this gorgeous image from Gingerloft which is available from  Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps
Isn't this image lovely!  I have coloured it with Copics and Promarkers.  It is called 'Frosty's Snowglobe' and yes I have made a start to Christmas !  There are lots of images to choose from at Stitchy Bears, it really is an Aladin's Cave covering just about every occasion imaginable.  There are lots of girly images too and if you cannot spot them let me know and I will point you in the right direction.  Likewise if you need anything specific maybe together we can come up with an image that might suit.  What I don't know I can find out.   It is such fun browsing this store, and remember they are easily re-sized!  Listen at me! She who did not like digis at one time! lol  they are so easy on the pocket too.

I used the lovely On the Edge die from Tim Holtz for the snowflakes a mixture of die-cuts, poinsettias from Ebay, cheesecloth and lots of sparkle..

GDT FOR ONE STITCH AT A TIME - 'SQUARE'

Morning everyone,

I am delighted to be invited to be Guest Designer today at the  OSAAT Challenge
where the theme is entitled 'square'.

WOW what a treat to be able to use this lovely Digi stamp called 'Snowman Wreath' manufactured by Hope Jacare Doodles, it was a joy to work with and can be purchased here

I have coloured the image with copics and promarkers and added stickles for the sparkle.  In addition I have used Marianne creatables papers'  The Cuttlebug Snowflakes die-cuts, cheesecloth and poinsettias were all from EBay.

I have of course got a square card, with a square topper placed central, this actually forms a small four inch card which opens to reveal an embossed circle.  Not easy to explain so I will try and include some photos.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Bling it On Challenge - Christmas
Christmas Cards All the year Round - Anything Goes

Don't forget to pop over to One Stitch at a Time to take a look at the Design Teams amazing creations and enter the Challenge too.

EMBOSSING AND A SKETCH

Hi again,

One more from me then I am calling it a day!
This is a card which I made for my niece's birthday which is on Christmas Eve.  I worked to a lovely Sketch for the 'Everybody Art' Challenge using Milton & Co Christmas papers, but they do not look Christmassy, apart from being red.  The image is a Stitchy Bears digi image, and it is gorgeous!  So lovely to colour!  I thought I might struggle with the red.  It looks lovely glittered up too with the Stickles.  What would we do without our Stickles lol

The frame has been made with the Punch Around the Page Martha Stewart punch.  You will see the embossed circle (Nestabilities) peeping through by the doily too, Swiss dots is the embossing folder I used.  The flourish is a Magnolia die-cut, the leaves are made using the Martha Stewart 'branch' punch and the flowers are Prima craftables which I tinged with copics and glittered.
