FUSSY & FANCY FRIDAY CHALLENGE - Anything Goes!

Hi everyone

Today sees the start of another Challenge at http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

The Challenge is being hosted by Andrea.  The chosen theme is 'Anything Goes'.  Well what could be easier than that!  I have been going through a phase of building up my stock of celebration cards.  Ones that are so useful to have made.  Occasions like Engagement for instance often come right out of the blue, so it is good to have a suitable card made ready.  I started off looking through my images.  I have always loved this one created by Sylvia Zet.  This comes in the form of a pre coloured Hobby House topper.  So useful!

Again, I have used items from Wild Orchid Crafts, Crafteezee (formerly Noor Design UK) and also from my stash.

It would be lovely if you had time to pop over and see the Design Team's beautiful inspiration and even better if you fancy joining in with the challenge. (http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ )

As always, thanks for looking,

Anything Goes at CHRISTMAS AT SWEET STAMPIN'

Hi everyone

I am so delighted to be here today to share my card for  http://christmasatsweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/.  Full details can be found by clicking the above link.

As always,  it is the easiest theme ever - Anything Goes Christmas!

So, here is what I made.   This time it is another Paper Bag Card.  I am so pleased that Karina (who is on the Dt for Noor Design UK) shared a tutorial on her Blog some months ago.  Since that day I have been hooked on making these!

The papers are from a pack called 'Cricket on the Heath' by Lemoncraft I think? The Shabby white embellishments were from Noor Design UK, as was the Dutch Doobadoo Structure Paste which has been used to tinge the embellishments.  Love this stuff!  The dies all came from Noor Design UK.

The detachable tag from the side:

It would be lovely if you could find time to pop over and see the amazing work of the Design Team, and even better if you were to take part in the Challenge.

Hi everyone

Today sees the start of another Challenge at http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

It is Julie's turn to host this challenge and the chosen theme is 'Pretty in Pink ' Oh my!  This was just up my street!  What a great theme!

I delved into my stash and looked out one of the lovely Hobby House toppers bearing the lovely image created by the very talented Sylvia Zet.  I find these so useful.  The papers are a Lemoncraft pack called 'Just Love Me'.  The flowers, ribbons and trims were all from Noor Design Uk.

It would be lovely if you had time to pop over and see the Design Team's beautiful inspiration and even better if you fancy joining in with the challenge. (http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ )

I am so delighted to be here today to share my card for  http://christmasatsweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/.  Full details can be found by clicking the above link.

As always,  it is the easiest theme ever - Anything Goes Christmas!

So, here is what I made.   This time it is a Christmas card using papers from a pack by Craft & You called 'White Christmas'.  The shabby white embellishments were from Noor Design UK, they were ones I had left in my stash, and talking of stash, that is where most of the other items came from.

As always,  it is the easiest theme ever - Anything Goes Christmas! and I have used some things from my stash.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the green Meadow Spray is from Noor Design UK.

So, here is what I made.   This time it is a Christmas card using a Hobby House Topper bearing this lovely image created by Sylvia Zet.  I find these so useful as they are already coloured.  I just love this image.

FUSSY & FANCY CHALLENGE - Things with Wings

Hi everyone

Today sees the start of another Challenge at http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

It is Norma's turn to host this challenge and the chosen theme is 'Things with Wings '

What a brilliant reason to make a Christmas card!  I love making Christmas cards.  'Things with Wings' - well what better excuse is there!

So, here we have it, my card using this gorgeous vintage image.  I think this might have come from one of the Pion Images from the Past papers but am unsure.  Several embellishments came from Noor Design UK, and of course items from my stash.  The dies were from Noor too.

Anything Goes at CHRISTMAS AT SWEET STAMPIN' CHALLENGE

Hi everyone

I am so delighted to be here today to share my card for  http://christmasatsweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/.  Full details can be found by clicking the above link.

As always,  it is the easiest theme ever - Anything Goes Christmas!  and I have used one or two items from Noor Design UK plus some things from my stash.  In fact when I look at this card I realise that the papers, flowers, ribbon and cheesecloth are all from Tracy at Noor.

So, here is what I made.   This time it is a Christmas card with detachable tag. I had some die-cuts already cut so used those.  Because I do not have a craft room I tend to have a session die-cutting, and that is why most of my dies are cut in cream or white. Then I use what I have cut when designing.

And a view showing the detachable tag.  I have decided i quire like this layout so you will probably be seeing more of this style.  It is a layout I used to do some years ago and had clean forgotten about it until recently.  I have slightly changed it this time though.

It would be lovely if you could find time to pop over and see the amazing work of the Design Team, and even better if you were to take part in the Challenge.

FUSSY & FANCY CHALLENGE -

Hi everyone

Today sees the start of another Challenge at http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

It is Gina's turn to host this challenge and the chosen theme is 'Favourite colours '  It actually is not my turn to post, but this is such a lovely Challenge, and as Gina is a good friend of mine I decided to play along.

Well favourite colours?  I do not have firm favourites.  And the colours I favour for cards are different to the colours I like best when it comes to other things.  My overall favourite colour has to be dark Amethyst, and varying shades I think.   But where cards are concerned I do love to see pink and cream, or pink and white.  So this is one of my favorite colour combinations.

I chose several items from my stash, some of which were originally from Wild Orchid Crafts and Noor Design UK.   I have chosen the lovely Vintage shabby style that I so love, but there are no surprises there! lol

The image was a freebie found online.

You know how some cards when finished you are more pleased with than others?  Well I am really pleased with how this one has turned out.  It is not often I say that because I always feel very insecure and wonder if they are good enough.  But enough waffle.

It would be lovely if you had time to pop over and see the Design Team's beautiful inspiration and even better if you fancy joining in with the challenge. (http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ )

FUSSY & FANCY CHALLENGE - Anything Goes

Hi everyone

Today sees the start of another Challenge at http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

It is Nikki's turn to host this challenge and the chosen theme is 'Anything Goes '.

I opted to make another paper bag card using items from my stash and a selection of embellishments from Noor Design Uk.

I have used a selection of JOY dies.

Below we have the inside of the card.  You can just make out the opening on the left side for the pocket of the paper bag.  And I have made two pockets inside too:

I feel pretty sure the papers were Lemoncraft House of Roses.

Below we have the reverse side:

Anything Goes at CHRISTMAS AT SWEET STAMPIN'

Hi everyone

I am so delighted to be here today to share my card for  http://christmasatsweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/.  Full details can be found by clicking the above link.

Yes, again  it is the easiest theme ever - Anything Goes Christmas!  and I have used one or two items from Noor Design UK plus some things from my stash.

So, here is what I made.  I chose to make another Christmas card in the Vintage shabby style I so love but this time I made a co-ordinating Gift bag too.  I was going through my older stash and came across these two lovely images that a friend stamped and coloured for me some years ago now.  It is from a Penny Black stamp, I still love those Penny Black stamps you know! Why these images never got used I do not know because I love them.

ELEGANT LADIES TAG CARD

Hi everyone,

Yes a mid week post for a change!

I am sharing another creation made using the Crafteezee Elegant Ladies Collection. This time it is a tag shaped card and co-ordinating card bag.

This type of bag is my own idea although I am sure it will have been done before.  It is made from a paper bag (one with a gusset).  I got to thinking it would be nice to have a bag to present a card in as a change from a box or envelope.  There is a pocket at the front too which I think would be good with some tags added or great for a gift voucher.  My difficulty here was keeping it simple.  I really had to smack my hands to stop embellishing it!  But I wanted to keep it simple so it will fit inside a jiffy bag without being too bulky.  I am quite hooked on making these and have made more, plus it will come as no surprise to hear I have done more elaborate ones too for the occasion when it is to be hand delivered.   lol

ELEGANT LADIES

Hi everyone,

I hope your weekend is going well.

I have one or two photos left to show you of things Imade using the Crafteezee Elegant Ladies Collection.  Here we see I made another sort of criss cross style gift bag with detachable tags.  I love making those and as I said before, it is one of my favourite layouts which I come back to again and again.

PION GIFT BAG

Hi everyone,

I hope your weekend is going well.

As promised I have a Gift Bag to share today which I made to co-ordinate with the card I posted on Wednesday 24 May.  I had such fun making these, I love making items to co-ordinate, if not actually matching.  The PION papers are such a joy to work with, as are items purchased from Noor Design UK.  There could well be items added from my stash too.

I made this a sort of criss cross style.  I absolutely love making this shape of card and decided it would be nice on a gift bag too.  Isn't it lovely to have some 'old faithful' favourite layouts to resort to when you just do not know what to make?

Here we can see the two detachable tags from the side:

Crafteezee Collection - 'Elegant Ladies

Hello everyone

This is my final post with some inspiration using the lovely Crafteezee Collection.

First of all, for those who do not know, these are Limited Edition.   It is a collection assembled by Tracy, who tries to source ALL NEW items each month, focusing on her favourite things.  If there are any left over these go into the store, and if not just those that purchase the kit will receive. Each month is a different theme .   Don't miss out, hop on over HERE to order your kit.    Doesn't that sound fabulous!  There is also an additional facility using Paypal monthly subscription links.

So, onto what I made.  Today I am sharing another card using the Crafteezee Elegant Ladies' Collection and selected other things from from the shop at http://www.noordesign-shop.co.uk/ plus items from my own stash.

So, from the 'Elegant Ladies' Collection I used the gorgeous Maja papers, the lace which can be seen at the very top and each side of the card.  The image was from the pack of papers and is sitting on a Scrapinec frame purchased from the shop.  In addition, the gorgeous pink flowers and beautiful hand mirror charm were also from the Collection.

I used Fantasy dies.

The charm at the top left came from the 'Sweet Romance' Crafteezee collection.  This was one of the very few items I had left from the previous Collections.  I must say I have used just about everything from each Collection.  This must make for good value with little waste!

I will add links below to the Fantasy die, seam binding, cheesecloth, Juliette lace,Pomegranate apples and pearl cascade which were from the shop at http://www.noordesign-shop.co.uk/

Some close ups:

As always, I have absolutely loved using this fabulous Collection!

Thanks for stopping by and happy Crafting

Judy
