LOTV IN FESTIVE RED AND WHITE

Morning everyone

Well Christmas is getting nearer and nearer.  The card Iam sharing today could be used for any celebration really, be it birthday, Christmas or even Ruby Wedding.  And that is thanks to the lovely pre-coloured image from LOTV.

I dug out my laces and flowers (Wild \Orchid Crafts) and added the lovely La La Land banner die-cut at the top.

I think we have around ten days to go now to Christmas!

Thanks for looking,

DUTCH DOOBADOO PARCEL CARD/LOTV

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share which I made what seems like ages ago.  I loved making this card, using the lovely Dutch Doobadoo template.  These stencils are great, I just can not stop using them.  I get these from Noor Designs Uk.

I have useda mixture of papers and embellishments from my stash and also from Live and Love Crafts and the image is from LOTV.

I am thinking what a lovely template this would be for Christmas cards!  Especially for including a gift voucher in the pocket.

HANGING THE STOCKINGS WITH LOTV

Hi everyone,

Can you believe that it is the last day of November?  Where has the time gone to!

I am gradually getting through my saved card photos.  I made a whole load of things to take to the Craft Fairs and this is one of the cards.

I just love the dies from Noor Designs UK.  The papers I think are from a Joy pad from Noor too and the image is a precoloured one from LOTV.

BEARING GIFTS WITH LOTV

Morning everyone

Well, it is the weekend and I guess a lot of us will be out Christmas shopping, so what better card and image to share today than this.

These images are great for a quicker card because there is no colouring.  This is one of the pre-colored images from LOTV.

The papers are from  a Joy pad purchased from Noor Designs UK and again I delved into my stash

I think this would double up as an all occasion card really, it is suitable for birthday or Christmas.

Thanks for looking today and have a great weekend

CHRISTMAS ALTERED GIFT BAG

Hi everyone

Here I have a photo of an altered Gift bag I made a little while ago when I was building stock for the Craft Fairs.

The large tree is from a Dutch Doobadoo template from Noor Designs UK.  The hessian tree is from a set of decorations I purchased locally and the papers are from LOTV

This is quite plain but I actually do like it!

LOTV - FOR A SPECIAL DAY

Hi everyone,

Well, I am not back in full force as yet so there will be a few quick posts which I will schedule in advance as and when I can.   I will be back to commenting once I am able.

I made this card thinking it would be suitable for either birthday or even Christmas.  The image is from LOTV, a pre-coloured one.

I think the papers may be Joy from Noor Designs UK but am not sure.

LOTV - Cute bunnies

Hi everyone,

Happy Saturday!  and a very Happy Weekend!

I found this image all coloured up in my bosof toppers.  It is an image from LOTV which a friend of mine stamped up and coloured for me simply ages ago.  Well, I have been gathering together a little pile of Celebration Cards, and this image just seemed quite perfect for that theme.

The papers are from Noor Designs UK, the dies are from Noor andCheery Lyn andthe embellishments came from  Live and Love Crafts andmy stash.

VINTAGE WINTER

Hi all

I have a card here that I made back in September.  I have kept putting off posting it on my Blog as it is so difficult to explain just how it works and not too easy to photograph either.  So here goes!

Right, well firstly I used LOTV papers and the Vintage image is a freebie.  The die is a Tim Holtz die, and the doiley and pearls were from EBay.  The ribbon and Rosette ribbon are from Live and Love Crafts, and the lace  were purchased locally.

So, the card looks quite normal from front view.

And this is the view when stood.

The envelope was made using my Envelope punch board, again using LOTV paper.
The left side has a curved pocket and the right side has a fold at the top and lifts

Like this.  There is then another curved pocket which holds a small tag/bookmark???

And that is it!

CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND CHALLENGE - WINTER WONDERLAND

Hi everyone

First I would like to apologise for my absence from Blogging recently, I have been having a few problems with my PC.   I have been unable to make many comments, each time I clicked on the comment link nothing happened.  Anyhow, eventually I found I could re-set Firefox back to its original settings (yeah seems simple but I am useless when things go wrong!) and Yay!  it seems to be ok again now.  It did not help with me getting flu either, just when I was due my flu jab!

Anyhow, today sees the start to a new Challenge at CCAYR, which is entitled 'Winter Wonderland'  You will see I have been playing around with my Cheery Lynn die-cuts again, and I just love this image created by Sylvia Zet for Wee Stamps.  I am really enjoying making this shaped card.  The image on the inside is from LOTV -  I love this image!

SHAPED CARD WITH BLING (Accordian Card)

Hi everyone

Tonight I have a very quick posting with a card to share which I have made for a couple of Challenges.  It seems a long time since I have made a card just because I felt like it.  I set too withmy die-cut machine and oh wow did I have fun.  I have opted to make an Accordian shaped cardWell i have been wanting to try this shape for some time now.  I thought I had seen this shape on Joann's Blog, but somehow I do not see it now, maybe I got confused.  But I am giving you her link because she is just so creative I know you will be blown away with her work so I do hope you have time to pay her a visit.

PS  Joann has very kindly provided me with the link to her lovely card which so inspired me.  I love how we have different styles and can make a card look so different.  I just love this card, and Joann's card is nothing short of stunning.  Do take a look here
Joann also explains how this card is made too.

I have used numerous die-cuts, mostly are Cheery Lynn.  I just love this oval frame, and the little dinky doiley die comes with it making it such good value.  This is what I used for the edging, and also on the inside.  In addition I have used Cheery Lynn butterflies and corners.  I have added Stickles to the butterflies but it does not show very well in the photo.

Pearls and charms from EBay

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Back again with my second card today,

This card is one I made over a year ago but have never posted it on my Blog until now.  Unfortunately the photo is not great, it was taken before I got my new camera. It makes me realise now how much I like the stitching on cards, this one looks quite bare without it, simply because I have now got into the habit of stitching my cards.
